Seems that Snickerhoss has decided to channel Dr. Robotnik.

Or Red the Hunter.

Snows seem to place a lot of importance on their titles.

Though I fail to see what real meaning they have.

Yeah, I was gonna mention that. "Esquire." What an odd thing to say in this context.

Also, hi Zarp! Fancy meeting you here!

I'll wipe that supercilious smile off your diabolical dial with a systematic swipe that will horizontalize your perpendicularity.

I've been here longer than you have.  It's easy to miss me when I lack an avatar.

He sure makes that "esquire" sound like the mud he'd scrape off the bottoms of his shoes feet.

I always have been curious just how much the level of technology has advanced in the comic. Considering we have the appearance of a "Riding Armor" with flight ability, I'd say pretty advanced.

for straight pure technology, I'd think maybe a century back from ours. Add Magic however and it nears our last half century at least.

Well, in antiquity esquire meant the son of a knight or the son of a noble's younger sons.  Currently it refers to untitled relatives of the peerage in the UK, and lawyers in the US.
