[Kiba]

"It doesn't have to be he himself to get near it. He could have his minions take it... or even cast a spell on it from afar, through a looking glass or something."

[Geary]

"But his minions are evil too, so they wouldn't be able to retrieve it either, as it would shatter to their evil intent as well."

[Kiba]

"Well in that case he would hire someone to retrieve one of them without knowing who he's getting it for. There are all kinds of ways around that precaution, Geary."

[Donnie]

Iasha crossed her arms, "Simple, have only one and keep it for yourself."
She reached over and scratched Kiba on the ears.

[Kiba]

I lean into the scritching and purr. "Mmmmm... that didn't feel so good when I was human."

[Geary]

Geary sighed. "I guess your right. I thought it was a good idea too..." The tabby sighed. He smiled at Kiba's reaction to having his ears scratched. "Hehehe, it seems like our raccoon friend is having a rather quick change of heart about his transformation."

[Kiba]

"Mmhmmm..." My tail swishes happily as I lean in more to the petting and eventually lay my head on Iasha's lap to let her stroke me, purring the whole time. I didn't seem to be able to control the purring. I could make it stop but didn't know how to start it voluntarily.

[Fen]

"Heh. though in my opinion, such a device would indeed be most dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands. and these sorts of things always fall into the wrong hands. If you really wanted to make some crazy magical device, though, go ahead, just be careful."

* Fenrs lifts up an odd-looking glove, mostly leather, but with metal around the fingers. A small, clear crystal is in the center of the top.

"Let's see if this works.."

* Fenrs puts on the glove and begins to make motions with his hand as though he is sliding something around on a table, and as he does so an object in the room moves. This continues for about a minute, then stops.

"Ah. not very useful after all... too bad.

* Fenrs takes the crystal out and places the glove in his pocket. The crystal disappears.

[Donnie]

<I wonder if I should not have started scratching o_o.. now I don't think he wants me to stop>
"Hey hey no messing with my house furniture!" She calls out to Fenrs.

[Kiba]

I didn't want her to stop... but I might not have noticed if she did anyway because I was falling asleep quickly.

[Fen]

"heh. Sorry about that. Let me fix it."

* Fenrs looks around the room and all the moved objects slide back into place.

"Too bad the experiment failed though. Seems objects can't channel the power very well at all."

[Donnie]

She shook her head, still scratching at Kiba. "People and their toys... so is there any other destination of interest?"

[Fen]

"I would offer to show you my own room, but it is not terribly interesting. I haven't done a thing to it since I've gotten here really, saves the trouble of moving all my things when I buy a house."

[Kiba]

By now I'm sound asleep, curled up with my head on Iasha's lap and still purring, my tail reaching up to my muzzle from the way I'd curled up.

[Geary]

Geary giggled a bit when Kiba fell asleep on Iasha's lap. "Hehehe, I guess ear scratches are much better than we think them to be." He sat down in a chair and crossed his legs at the thighs. "So Iasha, do you make a living selling all this stuff?"
