so i started to doodle something.

it turned out to be a fox.  i don't like to draw people cause if i get something off it looks really weird D:

i need to get better at this drawing thing :\

is that the sound of a geiger counter or my lifespan counting down? its both! here at black mesa when we say half life we mean it in more ways than one.

That's...actually pretty good.  Don't be so hard on yourself.

The perspective is a little off on the head/muzzle, yes, but it's still good.

I'd sorta' like to see this in color...

I don't like drawing people either...people just aren't very....unique. {;) I'll second Dragyn: Good work! Did you use a reference, or did you just kind of loose draw it?

...but that's just my opinion, so don't let it bother you too much!

I blame the uncanny-valley phenomenon, our brains are hard wired to recognize human faces/bodies, get one little thing wrong and our brains scream "WTF is wrong with that guy!"

Oh yea this reminds me of the show "The Animals of Farthing Wood" (which was a Book, Movie and TV series I saw when I was little (British Author, so I wonder if you guys have heard of this series) ). Ironically enough, the drawing looks like one of the the grey coloured foxes which were the evil ones XD. I guess its the squint of the eye or something ]:P

On a side note, I was at one of those bargain basement bookshops, and I saw some really cheap books in drawing animals and such, I should have bought one of them!

Really nice!  Better than I could draw a realistic-styled animal, that's for sure. [:)
