Geo is short or George. But in Geo's case, it is short for Geo. Muses can be named anything, really. Only incarnations of intangible entities follow a more conformed name route.

Huh, I never figured that out. Thought it was just a unique name. I'm curious, is it in fact pronounced the same as the beginning of Geography? Only way I can think of it being pronounced, but then again I wasn't never too good at grammar.
