Ya, going to have to say this. The trailed prick is kinda wrong when you think about it. As brand is more then Just a male volcano dragon. As your experiences define you more as a person then anything your species might have. Hell, if you look at how she acted threw out the entire story. She is still herself. Just look at how she treated the Kobolds.
If she was truly becoming brand. She would have tried to murder them for such insolence. but no she is still the kind hearted person she was before. Hell brand is no closer to becoming sadia. Hell brand is becoming in a way even more brutal and sadistic. Perfering violence and even tormenting people he dose not like. Sadia has been for the most part the voice of reason.
Regardless thou, Sadia is not becoming Brand. Nor is Brand becoming Sadia. This is massive gas lighting.
Oh it certainly is. I don't call Suzocon a dishonorable dog for nothing. He is, even by nogitsune standards. But the important question isn't whether or not he's gaslighting Sylia - but
why. His motivations with Brand and Roko are easy to figure out. But what does he have to gain by trying to gaslight Saida-hime? She's much less vulnerable to nogitsune blandishments than the other two and at this point, has far less to offer.
My best guess, and boy, I don't have a good track record here, is that Suzocon needs her for the Eyestone ritual. Because you absolutely know he wants that tail - the tail that may even be his own - in that Eyestone. The one Roko was making a try at when he disrupted the ritual. He switches Saida and Brand back, and he gets that tail. Of course, at that point, he doesn't need any of them any more...
