To Court the King is one of the best dice games ever. Let's imagine what a re-theme with us might be like.
(Note: the rules of the game are
here!)
Tier 0:
Fool/Charlatan In the physical game, these are two sides of the same card. I like to imagine that they're the same person, and the Charlatan's merely doffing his Fool disguise. Thus, the fuzzy on this card should be someone who's always playing tricks, yet more dangerous than at first glance.
Tier 1:
Farmer:
Serving Maid:
Philosopher: Someone intellectual. . . me, perhaps? :3
Laborer:
Guard:
Tier 2:
Hunter: Does Hunter want to be a Hunter?
Merchant:
Astronomer:
Tier 3:
Noblewoman: (Note this card's relationship with the Nobleman.)
Pawn Broker:
Knight:
Magician: Evilhumour or Kenku. (Note this card's relationship with the Alchemist.)
Tier 4:
Alchemist: Kenku or Evilhumour. (Note this card's relationship with the Magician.)
Bishop:
Nobleman: (Note this card's relationship with the Noblewoman.)
General: That armor and that bladed weapon just screams "I'm really serious and powerful and stuff." Pontos has armor and a bladed weapon which scream the same thing.
Tier 5:
Queen: Lucile, obviously!
King: Virmir, obviously!
