Hellooooooo!
Time to do something CRAZY.
I've always wanted to do something similar to Tod's "Icon Day," and feel like drawing a lot of expressions, so here we go!
I'll be drawing
square avatars/icons for EVERYONE who requests below! These things will be headshots for the most part.
- Please post a reference or a description of the character you'd like me to draw!
- Please pick an expression for the character!
- This is open to ALL CF members who have joined before the date of this post.
- Avatars will probably have a transparent background. I'm not sure how I'm going to cut these up and present them yet.
In ADDITION to the avatars, to make things more EXCITING, there will be ADDITIONAL PRIZES.
Requests will close this Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00PM US Central Time. At that time I will assign numbers to all requests and then roll dice in the chatroom to determine ADDITIONAL PRIZES as described below. These prizes are randomly chosen from the total pool of entrants.
GRAND PRIZEChoice of:
- A full-colored sequence drawing, much like the examples here:
http://art.by.virmir.com/?search=sequence and probably in the range of 5-6 frames. It does not have to be a transformation sequence if you're not into that. Your character doing jumping jacks or something is okay too.
- Alternatively you can have a reference sheet in this style:
http://art.by.virmir.com/art/virmir_reference_2012 This is essentially a sequence with less poses but additional text and color palettes and stuff.
RUNNERS UPIn addition to the grand prize, I'll also be selecting THREE people from the pool of entrants to receive a full-color single character picture (with no background).
Winners may post their additional requests in this thread after they are announced. Characters drawn do not have to be the same as the ones in the requested avatars. Winners need to posts their requests by the time I get to their drawings (after I finish the avatars), otherwise I'll pick someone else. If you won't be around, just let me know ahead of time and I'll hold your prize for later.
