[Geary]

Coe placed a paw over his mouth, thinking intently. "Hm... if it wasn't physical... then it must have either been shock or magic. But the change generally doesn't put people in enough shock to put them in comas, so it's more likely the latter." Coe went into his office, wrote something on a paper, placed it into an envelope, and handed it to Kiba. "Go to the librarian and ask for a book on trauma spells. This has happened before, and I'll need the book to figure out what spell it was."

[Kiba]

"Right, I'm on it." I take the envelope and give one last glance at Donnie before hurrying out of the door to the infirmary, taking a left and ending up in the library.

"Hello??" I call, going up to the front desk. "Is the librarian here?"

[Fen]

an assistant walks up to Kiba, an Ermine morph.
He nods to him.
"Sorry, is there something I can help you with?"

[Kiba]

I hand him the envelope. "I need the book written in there. It's for a patient in the infirmary. Thanks."

[Fen]

The assistant takes the envelope and reads it to see what book is needed.
"Alright, I think we have that over.. here."
The ermine leads Kiba down rows of bookcases, stopping at one. He takes a heavy leatherbound book off its shelf and checks it, nodding in approval and handing it to Kiba.
"Here you go, I hope this helps."

[Kiba]

"Thank you!" Clutching the book to my chest I scamper out of the library and back to the infirmary. Knowing the secret shortcut of the Keep, my whole trip took a total of about two minutes.

"I'm back. Here's the book, Coe." I pass it over to him, having to use both paws.

[Donnie]

Iasha tapped the counter "Well wolf, make a hole in the roof."

[Fen]

"In the... Roof? what? It'd be kind of hard to get to.. I'll just make one here.."

* Fenrs opens up a portal between him and the wall. (it hangs in the air, not touching anything.)

"there we go."

[Donnie]

"I meant the exit.." She shifted her eyes "Just a joke. Let's find ourselves a coon and a cat."

[Geary]

Coe took the book and began to finger through it. "No... no... that would make him purple... then he'd be on fire... I'm certain he still has a pulse... here we are!" Coe placed the book on the table next to the bed. "Okay... so the counter incantation is...

I summon the...

Bless this man...
Wang Fire?"

A spark emitted at the patients forehead. Coe noted this and looked back to the book. "Let's see... if you see a spark and something nearby catches fire, the ritual succeeded... I saw a spark, what caught fire?"

[Kiba]

"I don't kn-" I stop, sniffing the air. I turn around.

"MY TAIL!! AAAAAHHH!!" I run in circles, trying to bat out the flame.

[Geary]

Coe sighed. "Stop, drop, and roll Kiba. Seriously, how are you in the Keep without knowing the proper course of action when you catch on fire?" Coe asked, seemingly serious.

[Kiba]

I run to the basin, not hearing Coe's words, and stuff my tail under the tap, letting the water douse the fire. It burned the skin a bit, giving me a bad blister on the tip of my tail.

"Aaaauuuuugh..." I whimper. "It hurts..." I cast some healing magic on it and it cools, but the blister doesn't go away.

[Fen]

"It goes out to the roof, as you can probably tell... watch where you step."

* Fenrs walks through the portal and waves for Iasha to come in.

[Geary]

Coe chuckled to himself. "Well, now that that's resolved, out patient here is perfectly healthy. When he wakes up tell him that he can rest here for two days, max. We have to be ready for emergency patients, and we haven't gotten many beds at out disposal here." Coe returned to his office and began at the second half of his papers.
