[Kiba]

I suddenly start choking on my bite of burger...
"Ack!! Y-you too??" I spurt out when I finally get it down. "I'm from a tiny village up to the northwest of here, in the mountains... no one knows about -it- either. But it's still not on any maps. It's called Trenador... I doubt anyone's heard of it, like I said."

[Fen]

"My village was on another continent, far away from anywhere most people here have been. I visit it sometimes... Have you returned to your own village as of yet?"

[Kiba]

I lower my head and my ears fold back. "Err... n-no. I can't go back. Never. My entire village will try to kill me and I'm useless to defend myself. My master would turn them all against me even if I could convince my parents to spare me."

[Fen]

"A village that would abandon its own people for no good reason deserves the fate of those they would push aside. It's in the mountains, you say... Hm. in time they may learn of their folly and get such a fate."

[Kiba]

"What? N-no, you don't understand... I..." I look both ways down the bar...
"I'm from a village of people who... uhh... they're neither Ecclessia or Lothanasa. Umm... they're all Itmenites. That is... they believe in a god named Itmen, who is all about light and stuff like that. Curses are apparently evil and anyone WITH a curse is only that way because they were evil enough to pick one up... ugh, it's too complicated." I lay my head on the bar.

[Fen]

"Hm. Curses don't go to evil people, unfortunately. Rather, they're caused by evil people to worsen the lives of their enemies, which are more often than not good people. Regardless, anyone who comes here for long enough- anyone at all, gets hit by the curse. Everyone in that village would be just as helpless against it as you.

[Kiba]

"I was sent here because my teacher thought I was 'holy' and wouldn't be affected by the curse... I was raised to always believe he was right. When I transformed I thought I was pure evil... he made me hate myself." I sniff. "I'd rather not talk about it..."

[Donnie]

They didn't see her come in at all though Iasha was sitting on the counter itself and waiting for the waitress. Being on the counter and not the chair before it did make her seem very noticeable all of a sudden though she didn't utter a word and kept an ear to the groupie. The waitress came and raised an eyebrow as to her position.

"Um... your seat is behind you."
"Yeah it is, but I like it up here. I need no plate, just a drink."
"Very well, what kind of drink?"
"...Lemon juice I suppose. Keep the pulp in."

[Fen]

* Fenrs Wolf finishes the last of his meal, swallowing the final scraps of food and chasing it with a swig of ale.

"ahh. That was good food."

[Donnie]

Iasha was listening in the whole time. She was never told of Kiba's... situation. She also found the talk of curses annoying enough though.

"Now now kiddies!" She shouted out "Talk of curses is not good for your health."

[Geary]

Geary was listening intently to the conversation. So much that he didn't even notice a large fish being placed in front of him. However, when Iasha shouted, he broke from his trance and became aware of the world outside of those two. "Gah! Who th-hey! Fish!" The tabby picked up the fish and began chewing on it with great enthusiasm.

[Fen]

* Fenrs Wolf turns around in his seat to face Iasha.

"Greetings.I suppose you're right though.. talk of curses is not a very good subject matter, especially over such fine food. Though all things have their place."

* Fenrs Wolf looks back to the waiter.

"My compliments to the chef, by the way. He makes very good food."

The waiter nods and walks into the back.

[Kiba]

"...sure, Iasha. Like it's totally off topic being here in Metamor Valley. Curses are sooooo irrelevant." I roll my eyes at her. "I was starting to feel better about all this by -talking- about it. Don't you know how much just simply talking about a subject helps?" I ask, frustrated at her for butting in on a conversation she wasn't invited to.

[Donnie]

*well you TOLD me to reveal her -_-*

She waits for her lemon juice to arrive which is taking longer than it should. She guesses they need to squeeze the stuff. She began adjusting her gauntlet blade and the repeating Shhhk and Shhlllk echoes through the room as it extends and retracts.

"No seriously. If you keep talking about the curse its never going to pass your mind. You'll just keep thinking about it, moping about it, remembering your *grunt* past..." She seems ill tempered now when she said 'past'. Her shaved tail twitches, her tipped ears droop, and bears teeth.

[Geary]

The tabby's ears perk as he heard what Iasha said. He put down the fish, which he had already halfway devoured, and asked her a question. "So, why are you here?" Geary asked inquisitively.
