Their business model of getting money from the credit shop and the surveys wasn't enough to maintain the servers and pay all those involved in the development.

A pity really, since it was a nice time killing game where you could play as a furry

Indeed, a great loss. As really the only MMO (or PC game, even) I've ever been interested in.  And where else could I play a gray fox fire mage? Blast!

Hmm.. How that theres news that the Game would continue on.. an important question arises...

Would you guys play it still if it became a subscription (monthly fee) game?

For me... the answer is likely to be No.. if it was arounf the $15 USD a month level, but $5 a month, maybe.

Despite you guys playing it a lot.. you're random jaunts occur while Im at school usually... so I would only make the saturday meet ups, so such a high cost (made higher my my exchange rate) makes it that much harder to justify the cost.

I wouldn't mind a small fee since I've played it for months and I know it's a good game and will have fun with it.  However, most of the fun comes with playing with others here.  So it would pretty much depend on how many people would continue to play under such circumstances.

But of course, I don't think there's any need to speculate on changes before we hear anything about what's going to happen.

$10/mo, maybe, but I doubt it considering my financial situation.
Anything above I simply couldn't afford.

Now another question is would it be worth it considering I'm buying a whole month of game only to play maybe 10 hours out of it... and that's a hard question.
I'm into it for Fun With Friends. No friends = not enough fun to justify. Otherwise, might just do.

IF they're charging for it, there's pretty much no chance I'd play it.  I can't afford a subscription fee for anything, let alone a game I barely played as-is.  So yeah, if it stays free, I might try it again, but if they add a fee, I'm gone.

My best answer is "If the party is there, maybe". Money is not a strong resource for me right now, but if the cost was low and we had enough still for the comraderery, Id probably think about it.
