I'm also guessing this solves the problem of the group having a soul with no body.There was the time in page 221 Roko consumed the mana from living insects and that caused their bodies to wither and disintegrate. If Miyo was a normal fox and Suzocon extracted her soul, there must have been an additional step to keep her body functioning.

They may be able to work together to bring Roko back to life in his old kitsune body (or a recreation of it). However, unless Suzocon does it pro bono to earn a 9th tail for creating life, Roko doesn't have any way to pay for such a service. He could try to steal Suzocon's ball and ransom it for a body (and the eye stone), but that is more of a nuclear option.
