Ah, how I love technical jargon...and the layman's translation.

Alternately: Oh, bother. What must a madman do to get attention in this place?

wait for it... he has a clever plan XD

Of course he does! He's Van Helsing. Yeees, I might be just a little bit of a fan, especially after the Anthony Hopkins version. Roll all that into a crafty raccoon and it just gets better.

I was never sure about this, having seen the character sketches, but... van Helsing really does work well as a badger. :D

Erm...you mean raccoon, right? See his tail?

Woo-hoo! I think one of my favorite doctors of all time just had his first official bit of screen time in this project!

Hmmm....

"Yes, darling, I'm fine."

Yeaaaah, right. Provided that "fine" suddenly means "knows something is very wrong, but not sure what to do about it."

Great job on the reunion panel, Tod! I go all mushy for things like that.

Dracula / Feeling a bit drained? (Oct 24, 2009)

I do believe the plot has just hit cruising altitude with the appearance of those two discreet punctures. The setting and foundational pieces are in place and the weirdness meter is rising to the point that direct action must be taken, which of course just means more fun for us as events gather momentum and the remainder of the major cast is introduced. Let's just say I'm looking forward to a certain doctor arriving on the scene.

Yes, being batty is definitely a good thing. That goes double for when it gives us a chance to make in-jokes that I actually understand.

Intentional? Of course not. Too much fun to pass up? Oh heck yes.

Hey, Tod! Congratulations on wrapping up Chapter 7. Feels good, doesn't it? I've been enjoying things all the way, so I'll definitely be sticking around to see how Chapter 8 works out. Thanks for letting readers like myself tag along with you as you tell this story; it's a real treat!
