Looks interesting.  I take it that there's some going-ons about the setting that have been established, and that you are building on.  I wasn't lost or anything though, and felt pretty satisfied about the info you presented about "the treatment".  Still, kinda depressing, and from a setting I don't find that appealing personally.  Your writing is solid though, as always.
