Just in case anyone feel the need to point out how ridiculous, improbable, or how it is a masterpiece, (:p) I will be posting some completed backgrounds for my fictional characters so anyone can read here.

Name: Pilarelth "Collette Thibodeux"
Race: Gold Dragon (Very Young)
Age: 15
Game: D&D 3.5
Background: Ever since she was in Ceria for who knows how long, she had never known her true parents. Her stepparents had claimed that they were refugees from Grel who had came to Ceria when there was still time to flee. Her father died of disease during the trip and her mother had died during childbirth. Pilarelth (more commonly known as "Collette") had always known that she was never normal. There were times when she had an occasional nightmare. They.had always involved dragons of some sort. Her mental aptitude did not went unnoticed either. She was just as smart as any childhood prodigy, what was surprising was how early it revealed itself. She could fully comprehend arithmetic at the age of 5 and start learning the more complex languages. Her slow maturity had taken some of her peers around her by surprise. She matures slower than an elf, but yet she is Human. Speculation and rumors started to flare within several months.

It was then that her stepfather (who happened to be a cleric of Olidammara) took Collette away for private tutoring. Here he started teaching her the philosophy of his God. He taught her how to have fun, to cause mischief without being caught. He taught her subtly through the usage of games which seem harmless. He than used these "games" to teach her his God's philosophy. As she got older and become more trusted, he inducted her (admittedly small) priesthood. As her stepfather trusted her more he taught Collette in divine magic. She steadily grew to become more trusted and much more proficient in the usage of divine magic.

Even though she was tutored in private, there were times when she was still allowed to go outside. And Ceria was brewing for war. Although several states were not in a official state of war, they openly supported the Resistance on Grel. Collette's stepfather did not want her to take part in an event that will swallow up many lives and regurgitate broken souls. When it became obvious that no matter what she will volunteer herself into it. So he taught her special maneuvers that were meant to be used in self defense only. Uncharacteristically it took her longer than usual to learn these moves however. Eager to volunteer, she left in the dark of night with only knowledge of divine magic and the ability to use it, and the ability to move in certain ways with a sharp sword.

She joined the Federation and was pressed into service for a supply convoy headed for a resistance group headquartered in Fairland. The journal was rough and somewhat full of paranoia. The convoy was commanded by a veteran of several wars, but the lower staff was crewed mainly by green recruits. Some had never seen  or been on a ship before. But morale was high and everyone was enthusiastic. After several months at sea the convoy was ambushed by the Solarian Navy in the dead of night. Collette woke up to help her comrades. But it was for naught. As the one-sided battle raged on she was knocked overboard. Drowning, she desperately tried to take her heavy armor off. Through a contingent spell placed on her at least a decade ago, she watched shock as her Human form unveiled itself. Scales unfolded itself as though an illusion had been placed on it and she gained the ability to breath underwater. By the time her transformation into a Gold Dragon finished, the battle by then was already over. The few ships that successfully escaped would deposit what supplies they had and bring back only grim news.

But for Collette (who will now referred to as Pilarelth) she was still in the middle of the ocean, several hundred miles away from the nearest coastline. Unsure if this was a miracle of some curse bestowed on her she hastened to make full use of this form. She searched the sunken ships to see if she can find any usable items. She ransacked them throughly, only taking items that can be held in a bag of holding. With whatever she can put inside, she made off for the original destination she headed for. As time passed it became clear to her that this form is now permanent. Resting in an underwater cavern, she slept it off peacefully.  Pilarelth traveled for days on end. She started to wonder who she actually was. Had she been this way this whole time? Why did her parents leave her? Nevertheless she continued on. first the Solarian Church would have to fall. And if she truly is a dragon, than maybe she need not rush things.
