Last comic has a headless Miyo in a tube, this comic has a tube with a two-headed Miyo. How has he not figured out the correct number of heads by now?

Phew, Lord Suzocon isn’t a mass murderer and I was right that he made Miyo. He has a bit of a god complex, but that’s fair given that he’s about 46% as strong as one.

I admit the room full of mana vats is not a good look for Lord Suzocon, but he’s still Roko’s best chance at getting a body back. Remember: the only character who’s met Lord Suzocon before and has anything negative to say is Sea Mistress Darya and her idea of hospitality is enslaving visitors and waging war against their friends and family. Enemy of my enemy and all that.

Reapers are a ghost story for actual ghosts.

I'm guessing this is what happens when a kitsune kills the soul without also killing the body. I'm also guessing this solves the problem of the group having a soul with no body.
There was the time in page 221 Roko consumed the mana from living insects and that caused their bodies to wither and disintegrate. If Miyo was a normal fox and Suzocon extracted her soul, there must have been an additional step to keep her body functioning.

Roko is just a soul without a body and if I'm right that Suzocon can create bodies but not souls. They may be able to work together to bring Roko back to life in his old kitsune body (or a recreation of it). However, unless Suzocon does it pro bono to earn a 9th tail for creating life, Roko doesn't have any way to pay for such a service. He could try to steal Suzocon's ball and ransom it for a body (and the eye stone), but that is more of a nuclear option.

Previously I just assumed that Miyo was some unsuspecting sap and Suzocon ate his soul like Roko can do (but in a way that kept the body alive). Given that Suzocon has an interest in the spark of life, now I’m suspecting it’s the opposite: Suzocon built Miyo from scratch but wasn’t able to give him a soul.

In the last panel both Saida and Brand are staring at Brand's (now Saida's) large gut.

There is such a thing as being too polite.

At least Roko is honest.

Counting the one in the queen's eye stone would makes all 9 tails, although that tail didn't have the red tip like these have.
