Actually I'm of the opinion Fizzie's is the best one there. That's boss material you're looking at, it is.

Sounds like it'll be amusing ^.^

I don't have many references of myself, perhaps one of any given form, but you can find them all here.

Just be careful with refreshing or you may have to refresh a few extra times to get the one you want :p I'm curious as to what you'll come up with.

Heh, I thought this was going to be freeform rp based on the DnD setting. Since this will actually involve stats, dice, and other stuff like that, particularly showing up at a regulated time, there's just no way I'll be able to pull this off. Too much stuff I need to know and do rather than just the creative writing process that I thought this would be. Sorry to drop out like this ^.^;

So crap. I did not think this through properly. By the time this starts midterms will come around for me and if I have 'maybe' enough time now, I certainly won't then. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to do this ^.^;

Oh please, everyone makes that joke when Lopez does anything. It's overdone. Now what I found fascinating was the way he used his situation as an analogy to life. Often times people will go out of their way to do things the hard way in order to see themselves as self sufficient. In this particular instance his mother represented temptation, the easy way out that you are too proud to accept, so instead you waste time and effort trying to prove to yourself that you do not need help, that you can stand proud and tall on your own without the need of some crutch. The lack of a screwdriver only affronts your pride further, challenging you to take the easy way out but spurring you to greater effort.

*nods* clearly this insight can be perfectly compared to paying your taxes. (sorry, couldn't resist ^.^;)

Why are the Fade going extinct exactly? Don't they get new members whenever old members die?

Another thing of note... When people are in the other channel, you can't see them at all. And people not only 'could' but in fact often DO change their nicknames while in the other room. Typing out the whole spiel in parenthesees was annoying before, but at least you could just click their name. Now not only are they not present to click on but you can't be sure they're using the right name either.

Is there a way to allow /msg to cover a person's base name as well as their current one?

I can do Monday and Wednesday afternoons. (EST) Not sure if I'll actually be able to though. If this takes too much time I won't be able to keep it up.

storm sorceror would be more tempting if they didn't automatically assume lightning. I think I'll stick with fey after all. I'll be going with the light build type, but I may model my character off of Cosmo (snow leopard instead of lynx) cause that's so much more appropriate to the character. Due to classes and stuff I won't be able to finish making the character until later so I hope you'll bear with me ^.^;

That was generally assumed I thought. You would only draw power from one source after all. So does this mean if I check their use and like what I see I can start my character with one of those two instead?

Well he may be thin, but he's certainly tall enough to be one of the bigger cats. I don't see why you can't use the +2 strength instead of +2 dex. Anyway, as for me I think I'll be using catfolk as it compliments sorceror very nicely (plus it lets me use my lynx fursona :p). Anyway, when you said sorceror, in your description there were mentioned two power sources that the book didn't cover, storm and cosmos. Where do I find the information for that?

Durn it Kenku, I was going to be a sorceror >.<

For that matter I probably still will be since off all the classes that one speaks to me most (with Control type Wizard being a fairly close second). As for race, that might still depend on a few things. First of all, what are the primary differences of the four things you came up with compared to the other races? (stats and abilities and such)

depends on the furry. *shrug* You said you'll very flexible with cosmetics so that should be enough for me.

Sounds fun. I don't know how far my interest will keep (it probably depends on how we're going to do this) but I'm looking at Fey Sorcerer and sorta drooling with awe. I get similar feelings for Wildblood Warden and Control Wizard. While thing like Shaman and Druid are cool, ultimately I feel they just aren't things I would want to play. As for class? That's still up for debate and depending on which class I choose.

Someone seeks wisdom and knowledge, and so makes the discovery of a lifetime, but perhaps some things are best left unknown.

Take this where you will, the reason this thing perhaps shouldn't have been discovered has many possibilities. Maybe there is a guardian of some sort, maybe the truth is horrific in some way, or perhaps the knowledge is just too tempting a path to percieved power.
