All right, so Julian either
- knows what he's doing,
- THINKS he knows what he's doing,
- is just mad
- or a combination of the above.
The goodbye-face definitely puts his sanity in doubt.
And this is an interesting change on the image of Ludovic... as in, previous times we saw him, be it drawn by Tod or Virmir, he always had this... "laidback because he knows he's just THAT good" style, with a bit of creepiness... and here he seems... confused or surprised or something.
PS. Is that jagged gray edge under arms in second panel elbow-fuzz?
