This is my first drawing of him and his face looks funny. I got better after drawing him a bit in the comic. I wanted him to look a bit different than my typical foxes.

I nailed the hair and upper outfit first shot. I kind of wanted a proper dress skirt but ended up going with the more open Arabian style thing because I always struggle drawing dresses with my style of hips (plus it was more fun to draw).

This is the actual reference I used while drawing the comic. I had numbers in the script which indicated which stage I should be at at any given point, since I am bad with drawing sizes consistently.

Background castle servants in Fae Tale! People forced me to come up with a name for them, so I settled on "oni". They are essentially minor demons/sprites conjured up by the fae.

My first draft of the castle servants, with the idea that the bug-sized fae would have dominion over bugs. I ended up not going with them because Virmir did not shrink down to the size of the fae and I didn't want giant bugs walking around, so ended up designing the oni servants instead.
