I wonder what would have been worse. Getting taken to the dungeons of the quetz. Or getting taken by Angry kobolds to a giant volcano dragon? As this Sure backfired at this point. Maybe they should have stayed in the haunted Forest.

I'm getting the distinct impression that these kobolds of Retanlong's play for keeps. It's so nice to see competent minions for a change. Not so nice for Brand and Saida.

Looks like they're getting to see the fire kami whether or not they want to. Out of the oven, into the fire, I guess!

Something to realize back when Roko started using lightning stuff against the kobolds, these are the kobold tribe that Brand had to save him from that made Roko feel indebted to Brand. They had already killed one of the other kitsune he was with at that time too.
