<<This is what Suzocon was trying to do.>>

O Rly, Roko-san? Whatever gave you that silly idea?

Seriously, we haven't seen the last of THAT no-good nogitsune. I'm down to 3 ideas:

1) He's the Puppetmancer, having escaped (since nobody would go near his tomb) and quietly set up shop to start working on a new plan while his corrupted gods trash the world for him.

2) He's the Puppetmancer's protege as in Sauron being Morgoth's protege. They buried his sensei but the student lives on, working on a method of trashing the world more likely to work than his master's. Like a good Igor, he slipped out the back door when things got hairy. (h/t Terry Pratchett).

3) He's a big fan of the Puppetmancer's work and being the modest, humble being he is, he figures he can do better. See 2).

Either this whole Suzocon<->Puppetmancer thing is the world's greatest red herring or Roko just cinched it.
