The sad irony is that she still is. Just in the wrong body. Brand really screwed up, Dman was 100% right.

As for the village elder, who called Laputa and the palace majordomo in the first place, dude? You wanted them involved and now you're stuck with their plan of action, unless you ALL want to lose your wings. You wanted to protect Saida? You screwed up as bad as Brand did. Eat the consequences of involving Relshen, village elder. You built that.

To be fair, we don't really know that much about the village. We don't know how they are ruled. What their laws are, or even what the overall dynamic is. Hell is the Mayor even the Mayor? Is she even the boss of the village? Or was she just acting as the guide to the Quetz and their guest.

That said, i don't think the Mayor had anything to do with this. If i had to guess Relshen was out looking for Thunder bro. As lets be frank hear, The eye is missing including the princess and a Volcano Dragon Prisoner. Combine this with the fact that the Cort of the Qeltz got a lot quieter considering half of it got Killed by that Tailed rat. Wouldn't surprise me if everything is just in chaos at the moment.

Lastly, sadia is in all honesty not as vindictive as brand. She was never going to hurt the aves. Hell she was never going to hurt anyone. As she is a truly kind soul. Hell when they were fighting the Possessed deer guardian. I think she only really destroyed it because their was no real other option. She fled not because she couldn't just Destroy them. But because she didn't want to hurt anyone.
