Welcome to Halloween-Sketch-a-thon 2025 (#15)!
If you are interested in requesting a sketch, please follow the below steps and post a reply to this topic! The rules have changed this year, so be sure to read them all before posting!
Step #1: Make sure you have joined this forum BEFORE this topic was posted. If you are just signing up now, sorry! You are free to join next year. (NOTE: If you were adversely affected by the 24 hour period in which forum registration emails were broken last night and earlier today, send me an email with your username and I'll get you activated.)
Step #2: Look at the last request posted and find that post's number. Increment that number by one and put it at the top of your post. If you are the first to post, then your number is #1. If people are posting too quickly and the numbers get messed up, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your number is correct (although maybe give it a bit and wait for posts to slow down).
Step #3: Write a 1-2 sentence description of your request. ONE CHARACTER ONLY. NO BACKGROUNDS. Possibly one prop if it's not too complex. Sorry, no extra Virmir character this year (although you may request one of my characters as your one character if you wish). PLEASE KEEP THE LETTER COUNT TO UNDER 200 or so. You can use this tool to make sure your letter count isn't too high.
https://wordcounter.net/character-countStep #4: Please post a maximum of 3 links to references relevant to your request. Make sure you use an image hosting service that does not expire within the next week or two. If I drew your character before, just do a search on my gallery site.

Step #5: Relax! DO NOT ask me to review your request and tell you that it is okay! It probably is! I won't look at these until I draw them. Feel free to edit your request up until I start drawing it. I'll try to remember to refresh the page each time I start a new one. Sorry, I will draw these in order that they are posted with no regards to who is in the chat at the time. (Except I will keep group requests together, see below.)

OPTIONAL GROUP REQUESTS: Up to 4 PEOPLE may JOIN together for a group request! If this is the case, then the person to post first will need to post ALL the participating numbers and the description of ALL characters and ALL reference links. EVERYONE MUST STILL MAKE A POST. The ones who post after need simply put who else they are in the group with along with ALL of their numbers. This will likely require people to put place holders in for numbers until everyone posts, then come back and edit posts with updated numbers. This is YOUR responsibility!
Note the max of 4 for group requests this year!

COMMON REQUESTS/ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS:
- These will be posted in batches on one big canvas. Feel fee to cut out your request and post it anywhere you like! If you absolutely have no way to navigate a basic image editing program and cut out your own request, as a DESPARATE last resort, feel free to ask me to cut out your request for you.
- Feel free to color your request or ask someone else to color it for you! TIP: To instantly make the white background transparent, set the image layer to "multiply"! Most image editing programs allow this! No special transparent background version necessary!

** NOTE ** I've become aware of a "database error" some users are getting when trying to post. This is because of weird special characters getting into your text, likely things like dashes, curly quotes and such, copied over from Word. If this occurs, simply re-type your message directly into the post instead of copy/pasting it. (This is due to a recent database move-- will have this fixed after the sketch-a-thon is over).
