Mind you i had to use goggle translate for this. But yes roko always spoke Fluent English. Is the canonical language of the comic either English translation of the local language, as Valsalia explains in his comic Out of placers?

Most comics are assumed to be spoken in or translated to the reader's language. Some will use brackets, different speech bubbles, a different font or something else to indicate another language is being spoken in a multilingual group. Twokinds uses 2 different brackets to indicate basitin or keidran languages, Slightly Damned uses different colors.

Real question is, Is brand still alive?
