Funny story, I saw this awesome video a while back and made this comic a few days after seeing it, but I got my countries and wrote it as Denmark, but this road: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM5oX0KbtUw is actually in Hungary.
There's also something like this in Lancaster, CA, but I've heard that it doesn't sound as good.

Yes, in most languages around the world, pineapples are called ananas, even though (for once) the English word kinda makes more sense.
Also yes, in the few centuries after the Europeans discovered the Americas, they practically worshipped the pineapple, some wealthy businessmen would even pay millions just to have one displayed in their homes.
