Some doors are meant to be closed. Locked by keys. Mine are very special. Inspired by Locke and Key.

The Dino Key.

Though it may look like it was made 65 million years ago, it's actually made to look like a fossil and it's the size of a chicken leg. This can be inserted into the chest of someone and it changes them into a
prehistoric giant from so long ago.

The Toon Key

All of us enjoy a good cartoon, like Virmir's work. This key takes things to a whole new level. The Toon Key can bring any drawing to life. It works like a fountain pen with a supply of ink stored inside of it. When drawn on any flat surface, the ink shapes itself into the character the user drew. For my first time using it, I drew a cartoon wolf from the 1930s rubber hose era. It can even unmake toons by tapping the bow on them.

The Sweet Tooth Key

Sweets and treats are all over the world. Often enough, we ask is there such a place as Candy Land? The Sweet Tooth key unlocks the door to such a place. A land made entirely of candy, even the fauna are made of candy. But be warned, the locals may look like gingerbread, but they're not the friendly sort. You can't have candy without the risk of cavities.

The Inverse Key

With every coin, there are two sides. The inverse key is a good example. This key goes to a Chinese music box, doing a complete 180 on the user's personality and physical form. For example, a soldier becomes a civilian.

The Dragon Key

Out of all the keys, this one has a good friend. This key has the power to change the user into a female dragon named Zarmar. You insert it through a keyhole that appears at the side of your neck. Zarmar created this key sometime between 410-1066. After the user has changed, they're put in the backseat of their minds so the dragon can be in control. She's not a malevolent woman. She's a kind heart dragon, just wrongfully slayed by Vikings. She use to help the locals and even had her own castle. When she had her time, she uses the key to change the user back and give them control.

The Forge Key

The Forge Key is a pretty useful key. As the name implies, it creates a weapon. It goes to the bottom of a weapon hilt and creates a weapon that best matches the user. For example, it'll create a powerful hammer for Virmir.

The Mask Key

Everyone wears a mask, metaphorically. But often, we wear masks for fun. This key gives you the freedom to wear any mask you can think of. The Mask Key goes to a Chinese mask cabinet and can offer a variety of magic masks. The Majora kind. You can even ask for a new mask when turning the key in the lock.

Poseidon Key

We all know that around 80% of our world's oceans haven't been explored. This Key unlocks the Sea King's Door, leading to underwater ruins, and has the fun side effect of turning the user into either a merperson or anthropomorphic fish once they step through.

Ice Key

If Old Man Winter used a key, then this would be it. This key is able to freeze anything it touches by the user. Creating large icebergs, ice sculptures, and even your own breath can be a blizzard. The second ice age is in the palm of anyone's hands.

P.S. Virmir, please don't blast me just because I have this key.

Jack-o-lantern Key

The name Jack-o-lantern comes from a phenomenon of a strange light flickering over peat bogs. AKA, will-o-the-wisps. The Jack-o-lantern Key goes to a clockwork Jack-o-lantern, releasing an endless swarm of wisps and a steady flow of mist. The wisps possess Halloween decorations and make them real monsters. The same thing goes for people in Halloween costumes. The effects and wisps return to the jack-o-lantern when the key is either turned to the left or removed.

Edit: The user can give instructions to the wisps as they turn the key. They can summon an army of monsters to conquer the world or have the best Halloween festival.

The Storywriter's Key

Ever wanted to have a story of your preference? Now you can have one. The Storywriter's Key unlocks a large book that writes stories for you. Just ask it what you want the story to be about and inked words will appear on the blank pages. It can even go the extra mile by bringing you into the story and bringing the story into the real world.

Mario Key

I've been saving this key for a few days, in honor of the release of the new Super Mario Bros Movie. Foxes and Vixens, the Mario Key. It opens a door that looks exactly like the doors from Mario 64, allowing you to travel to the Mushroom Kingdom and meet the locals. Just make sure that Bowser doesn't get his hands on it.

The Hylian Key

"It's dangerous to go alone. Take this... key?"

A key forged from a blacksmith in Hyrule, practically. The Hylian key goes to a door with the Triforce on the lock, allowing access to the all-time familiar fantasy world. The door has a turn dial on the door, allowing the user to select which version of Hyrule to go to.

This isn't a key that makes cookies, it's a key that makes Cookie Crisp cereal. Just insert this key into any lock and you'll get a flood of this cereal. This is more of a joke key. This was requested by a friend on Discord, they loved eating Cookie Crisp cereal when they were a kid.

Scale Key

Ever thought you were too fat, too thin, too tall, too short, too buff, or too scrawny? You can use the scale key to help with that. This key goes to an electric scale, like the one you normally see at a Doctor's office. Using this key in the scale allows you to modify your weight and height. Sculpt your body however you like.
