I thought standard procedure in situations like this was to give the report as you fought. At least, thats what I always did.

Nah, it's too easy to get distracted. You might end up vaulting over the villain, delivering the report to a wall, and hitting your superior officer with a fireball.

I'll wipe that supercilious smile off your diabolical dial with a systematic swipe that will horizontalize your perpendicularity.
