Hey guys! You might have seen me hang around in the chat, and you might have seen me TF once or twice, and questioned yourself, "How is he doing this?" Well, I wanted to do an origin story of me and my extraordinary ability so you won't be left in the dark! This will be the first story that I will share to you peeps. Let me know what you think by leaving your own thoughts below. Other than that, I hope you enjoy my origin story! {fox}

WARNING: Absurdly long story ahead! Plus TF!

Im in chemistry, preparing for the upcoming science fair. I look around. I see my partners, Ken and Joe. We are preparing some fluids to change molecules to different forms. I'm a good helper around chemicals. Ken relies on me to help him with his homework, or else he'd fail the class.
On the other hand, Joe is the second best around chemicals. He scored a 90% on the unit test we did a week ago. Due to how long the test was, that was pretty good.
Me? Lets just say I'm the top of the class. I got perfect scores on all the tests and quizzes we did throughout the year. My other fellow classmates would call me "Master of chemicals". Joe puts some fluid into a beaker, then Ken prepares some chemicals to mix with the other one. I say "Ken, what are you doing? Don't you remember what the teacher said? Handle chemicals with caution!" He shrugs me off and says, "Relax Skroder, I got this under control. The chemical isn't doing anything. Look!" I look at the chemical. It's doing nothing. No chemical reactions, just sitting there dead as a doorknob.
We are ready to mix the compounds together, so Ken inserts the other chemical and... What? It's not doing anything. Nothing at all. Zero chemical reactions, zero everything. I look over into the beaker to get a closer look and...
Aaah! My eyes! They feel like they're burning up in molten lava! Quickly, Joe gets the teacher's attention, then the teacher walks me over to the eyewash station. I hear the teacher frantically calling the ambulance, then I realize what happened. Joe inserted a highly corrosive chemical into the beaker, so my eyes felt like they were going to melt!
I overhear the teacher replying, "Yes, they included Sulphuric acid". Sulphuric acid! That's highly corrosive! I see the teacher looking at me for the split second I have my eyes open. They then make me keep my eyes shut. I overhear again,"Yes, I will take a look to see if he has any injuries."
He runs over to me, then inspects the spill. I then hear,"This is impossible! There is no fur eaten away or anything! It's like he's completely, immune! What do we do?" The class starts mumbling. I can hear some say,"What?" And,"How is he immune to sulphuric acid? He shouldn't be!" I then pass out for some inexplicable reason.
I then wake up in a hospital bed. But something is unusual. I inspect myself, and when I look down, then I notice the imperfection. I'm a feral! The doctors come over to me and say,"Ah, Skroder, you're awake! You might be questioning your form right now, so we will give you the backstory.
When we were nurturing you inside of the ambulance, we double-checked that there were no injuries. Then, for some reason, you began forming an unexplainable sphere around yourself! We could not touch you during then, but the sphere was deeply humming, then it burst, making us fall back in our chairs! We looked to see you were not a anthropomorphic red fox anymore, you were one of those feral red foxes found in the wild! We then tested you on this bed, and we discovered that, when exposed to numerous neurological stimuli, you were able to change your form at will! So, we made you into a feral to prove our theory. We want you to focus to become your normal self again. Will you do it?"
I then obey the doctors, concentrating to be the normal Skroder that I normally was, then I was shrouded in some sort of glass-like ball! They were right! I could morph into other shapes at will! I stretched a paw, then gasped as it started changing into normal anthro fingers!
When it ended, the glass casing exploded and the doctors were knocked backwards! I apologized at the doctors for knocking them backward, but they just stood up and looked at me like they just cured cancer. They then started jumping up and down with absolute joy in their eyes. "We're right! This could be a new superhero! XFox! SuperFox!" I interrupted. "I'd like to be called just Skroder please.", then they looked at me with defeat. "Okay then. Not the super type, are you?" They then leave the room. Time to test out my powers!
I look around the room. No one! I imagine myself being a feral again, then the glass-like ball comes back! In a shorter amount of time, there is a less severe explosion, then I look down at myself. I could only see a wild red fox's paws and tail! I could really do it! I continued looking down at myself in disbelief. Was this a dream? I face-pawed myself. It hurt! That definitely confirmed that I could be a superhero!
The doctors come back into the room. "We're back! Oh! We can see you have been fiddling with your power! Still getting used to it are you?" I then try to say, "Yes! I think this is quite amazing!", but the only thing that comes out of my tiny mouth is "yip yip yip yip!" I then cover my mouth! Maybe I was too much like the feral on that nature walk last month? They sigh. "Anyway, we applied you to the local morphing magic academy. We'd hope you'd like it because, you know." I hold up my paws. "Yeah, that." I try to say, "Thanks! I suddenly have an interest in morphing!" But it comes out as, "Yip yip yip!" I sigh and start morphing. The doctors take cover as the ball takes shape again.
I look down at myself, then at the doctors. They think I'm a superhero! Cool! The blast comes, this time significantly less explosive than the other ones. Maybe enough to push some papers off a desk. Anyway, they are staring at me in disbelief, then they shake their heads. I then say, "I said, Thanks! I suddenly have an interest in morphing!" Then one doctor says, "oh. You know it's so hard to understand you when your a feral. Did you know that?" I smile and reply, "Yep. half the time, I didn't know what I was saying!" They then all chuckle.

NOW FOR PART 2!

WARNING: REALLY LONG STORY AHEAD! PLUS TF!

The doctors look at me and say, "We booked you to get off this bed and into some lab testing. I starts at 5pm, or 17:00 if you're into 24 hour time, tonight. Don't be late." I then look at the clock. It says, 3:55pm. Still have time to kill. If I didn't look into that beaker, I'd be leaving school around now. That reminds me, how is Ken and Joe doing without me? The doctors snap my attention back to them. "Hey, you listening? 5pm today. Don't be late."
They exit the room, which is the start of a 1 hour- 5 minute bore fest. I slowly try to stand up onto the cold tiles of the  room floor. I start to walk around the confined space. It was amazing my legs didn't fall asleep! I walk over to the bathroom to "do my business."
After I leave the bathroom, I start to morph again out of boredom. Hey, how am I supposed to pass around 1 hour without become bored out of my wits? The spherical ball starts to enclose me again. I imagine myself becoming smaller. And I do become smaller! I'm starting to become a feral again!
When it stops, the bubble bursts, causing minimal damage to the room around me. I then start to fall to the floor! Oof! That hurt! But now I have much more space to run around in! I start with slow, easy steps, then quickly get the hang of it! I now know what it's like being a feral! I jump on and off of my hospital bed, run laps around the room, and even lie down on my pillow! Everything looks way much bigger when I was at this form. I stare at my paws for a couple of seconds, then decide that I was not going to be a very good superhero when I could only go between 2 forms. There had to be more. Hold on. When the doctor said "numerous neurological stimuli, we discovered that you had the ability to shapeshift!", that meant I could have many, many more forms! I start to imagine myself growing into a feral the size of an anthro. I immediately start morphing.
The bubble is very faint now, and lasts only about a second or two, but I notice myself getting increasingly bigger until I'm the size of my normal self! It works! I can shrink, get bigger, AND change forms! I was Ant-Man, but better! I laughed at the ways I could save the world, then I covered my mouth with my now big paw. I didn't want to disturb other foxes in the other rooms. I stand on the floor again, noticing the size of my paws. If I was going to save the world, how would I do any good? Then I get an idea. I run over to the bathroom and stare into the mirror for a little bit, then flash my teeth. I could bite! That's how!
I go out of the bathroom to look at the little clock. It now says 4:00. Man, time sure flies when you're having fun! I start to turn into my normal self to avoid trouble, then lie on my bed. I still was tired from studying chemistry last night. But looks like I won't be in school for a while! I sigh then go to sleep. But I will have a lot of homework when I do go back to school.
I wake up later in the day, then look at the clock. Holy yippers! 4:55! I get off the bed then run into the hallway, then realize something. I didn't know where the lab was! I facepaw myself, then ask an employee. "Excuse me, but do you know where the laboratory is?" She replies, " Down the hall to the left, then second door." I say thank you, then run off. If I didn't hurry, I'd be late!
I bolt down the hallway, then grab the left corner of the wall, thrusting myself to go faster. I learned that in elementary school. Something about momentum. Anyway, I skid to a halt on the second door that says, "Laboratory. Authorized Foxes only.", then I gently push the door open. I'm greeted by a white room with several shelves of chemicals, and the same fox that said me to go here in the room. She exclaims, "Oh, hey Skroder! Come take a seat. She gestures to a comfy looking chair. I proceed and sit down. She then takes out a stack of papers that was in the desk she is sitting in. She starts talking. "Okay. So, Skroder Brad Bartholomew?" I reply, "Yep. That's me." She smiles and says, "Birthdate, April 19th?" I say, "Right again." She continues talking. "You were nearly blinded with some unknown substance, along with some sulphuric acid, then we figured out that you were immune to corrosive materials. We then took you to this hospital, but on the way there, the nurse and doctor that were there discovered that you had the extraordinary ability to morph into other forms and sizes without the need of the gross alternative that I am not going to get into here. You then woke up to being a wild red fox, then you morphed into your normal self without hesitation, then we signed you up for weekly classes from 10 to 5 for the local magic academy, for the subject of morphing of course." She sets down the sheets of paper. I'm still listening to her. She then says, "So I see you've been through a lot today. I suppose you were a top chemistry brain?" I nod my head. "Anyway, I'm not going to beat around the bush here. We need you to stand still, straight up because we are measuring you for your cloak that you'll be wearing for your classes." I then obey, standing up as she comes with some measuring stuff , then shortly after, I sit down in my chair as she writes in a notebook. "Now the real fun begins. We will now do the lab testing that I mentioned. She plucks one of my fur hairs, then I jump in my chair. "Ow! What did you do that for?" She takes the fur back to her desk.
"DNA, she explains. We will study this piece of fur and its strands of the code that are found in the DNA that is inside of it." I rub my head where she plucked it, then look around for a couple of seconds. She looks up at me and says, "Five doors left of your room." I sat there, confused. "Excuse me?" She sighs and says, "The cafeteria is five doors to the left of your room." I thank her and leave the lab, then start running down the hall again. Now that she mentioned it, I was quite hungry.
When I reach the room, I pry it open then see a lunch room packed with gray, red and fennec foxes. This was the place! I grab a plate, nearly fill it up with food than sit down on the bench, starting to eat. This was good! I start eating up, being humble. Soon, in around a week or two, they will all know me, but they don't right now.
After filling up, I place my plate in the pile that everyone else has been placing their plates on, then leave the cafeteria to go back into my room. After I was in my room, I discovered that there were hairs all over the place. Had my feral self been shedding a lot? I shrug than clean it up into a pile, then scoop all the hairs up, throwing them in the trash. I blamed myself, then climbed onto my bed to sleep.
I wake up to a heavy banging on my door. I open it. There is a fennec with absolute fear in his eyes. He talks really fast. "Sorry to wake you in 6 in the morning, but there is, never mind, just follow me." He then runs really swiftly out my door then down the hall, then I follow him. If he was that terrified, there must be something REALLY wrong!

Find out what happens in part 3, coming out on Saturday this week!

I follow the fen down the hallway, twisting and turning through corridors. Where is he taking me? If he needed my help, I'd need to fight the fact that every inch of my body was aching. He stops in front of a massive set of double doors, maybe made of some sort of steel. "It's just outside this door." He says as he swipes his ID in the slot near the crack in the middle. What was the mentioned "It?" What was outside of these doors? So many questions were swarming my head just as the massive gate started to open. All of my questions were about to be solved. As the doors finished opening, I was greeted by something only known as a nightmare in the courtyard.
Standing before me was a colossal dragon! I had the intention of running back, entering my room and flopping down on my bed to be safer, but the fennec fox stopped me in my tracks. "No! You can't leave! Your the only one who can save us!" He gestures to the corpses of the soldiers scattered across the field. They were right! Only I had the power to defeat this monster! I looked down at myself, then took a few steps forward. The beast looks down at me and laughs in hysteria. "Fools!" He bellows. "You think a puny mortal can defeat me? Never!" I start morphing, which makes him stop his uncontrollable laughter. He then stops completely when I inspect myself again with my new-found dragon form! "You may be a dragon now, but I know you are still prone to your defeat!", he boasts. I'm furious now. Without further hesitation, I thrust my body weight at the monster and knock the air out of him. "Fool!" He remarks. "You will not rise victorious!" He pounces onto me, then proceeds to stand on me. I quickly roll over, sending him crashing into the ground! He looks at me with absolute fury in his eyes. He comes charging at me, then time seems to stop. I realize that this form also included wings! I tried flapping them as hard as I could, then they start to lift me above the dragon, sending him crashing into the hospital! I lower myself down, then slap him across the face. He is knocked out, but I know that he'll come back soon. So I change into a feral, then hide on his face, right in front of his left eye.
He wakes up, only to find a feral red fox near his eye! He stares at me for a while then asks, "little fox, have you seen a very bad dragon lately?" I don't do anything, as ferals can't speak English. He continues to look at me and sighs. "Oh. Your right! Wilds don't speak!" He grabs me in his gargantuan paws, and just when he is about to let me go, he realizes, "Hold on. If that pesky brat could change his looks," he looks at me. Uh oh. The evil eye! "Then he could be this little one!" He blew my cover! I quickly turn into an anthro and run up his shoulder and punch him in the right cheek. He howls and rubs the impact zone. "At least I was right!" He then attempts to slam his paw down at me, trying to squish me! I manage to dodge every time, slipping away only milliseconds before his paw hits the ground! I then increase my size to 15 feet in height, then proceed to eye the dragon, who was eyeing back in disbelief. "You puny little red fox, I shall come back!" He then yelps, then flies away. I yell, "I'll defeat you again if you come back!", then I change back to regular size again. The same fennec fox and many others are looking at me with glee. "That was amazing! Those soldiers had years of dedicated training, and you only had one shot, and you exterminated the dragon! Nobody else could do that!" They then cheer in a bombastic amount of noise. I shout over the howling crowd and say, "thank you! Thank you! I've never been more appreciated in all my life!" They then chant my name and  walk back into the hospital. The fen then shows me back to my room and apologizes. "Sorry for the hyperactivity in the morning. Watching the best army getting killed would drive you to the brink of madness if you watched the horrific scene. Anyway, that defeat could be beginners luck, or the start of something big. I'd like to prefer the start of something big."
After around 10 minutes of walking, I finally reach my room. He then looks down and says, "too bad you're leaving this hospital tomorrow. You will be living in one of the dorm rooms at the academy. Hope you enjoy your time there." After an early goodbye, I go into my room, then look at the clock. 9:00pm. It was getting late, so I sat down onto my bed, replayed the battle from beginning to end in my mind, then curled up in my quilt and went to sleep.
I woke up to the morning sun shining through the window. I pulled open the curtains and looked out. It was beautiful! I then glanced at the clock. 8:00am. I then say goodbye to my cot, then leave my room. Tons of foxes are looking at me with smiles on their faces. They then all say at once, "Goodbye!", then they all hug me one by one. Once that had all died down, I make my way over to the cafeteria to get my breakfast. Again, I'm surrounded by dozens of over patients, thanking me for saving them from the dragon from last night. Then I realize something. I saved a whole hospital, packed with foxes! I smiled at myself and started eating. I was going to have fun at the academy.
After I was done eating, I went to my room to pack all my stuff up (Not that I had much stuff, mind you) before heading out of the hospital and greeting my family and friends before heading off to the academy. I smiled as I picked up some presents that some of the other staff gave me. I put them all in a bag that the staff included for some reason, then headed out to the taxi that the staff had booked for me before. I pushed open the main doors to the hospital that had taken care of me for the last night. I make my way towards the yellow taxi car, and the driver shot me a smile as I pulled the doors to enter.
The driver kept beaming as he said, "so, your the one that saved the hospital?" Good thing someone recognized that fight last night. I still had bruises when the dragon tackled me! "Yep! That would be me!" The driver gets the car going, then it starts to move across the road, leaving the hospital. He asked another question. "So, going back to your family?" I nodded. "Good. It's always wonderful to visit your family once in a while."
The drive is pretty much quiet the rest of the ride. I glance out the window a lot, and that's pretty much it. Finally, the car stops. I reached my house! I see my mother waving to me from the living room window. I get out to meet her, and the driver speeds away. My mother pulls me into a hug, and I hug back. Then she looks at me and says, "where have you been? I got a call from the school saying that there was a chemical spill and you got sent to the hospital. Then I saw in the news that a DRAGON attacked the hospital, and there was a fox that defeated him! How did you manage? Hiding? That would be my guess." Wow! Even my mother knew about the dragon that attacked the hospital! I opened my mouth to tell her that I was the fox, but I realized that I needed a place away to talk. "Mother, we need to talk."

So that was all three parts of the story, wrapped up and delivered to the public! I hope you enjoyed my story, so you know how I got to where I was now! Thank you for reading!
