That's quite possibly one of the best interrogation set ups I've seen.  Apart from it not being in a dark dungeon to disorient the prisoner.  If he's been asleep for 3 days then they should have had time to move him

Perhaps they weren't certain of when he'd wake up, and preferred waiting a few days than risking their airship falling out of the sky.
