Geoff doesn't react to the feint. "Please do me better justice than that, I doubt you would be here if you were unskilled enough to believe a mad rush the best course of action."

Geary: That means you get a companion for four levels, then it gets an upgrade.
Draykin: A very PAINFUL upgrade.

Irae smirks as his cautious advance brings him past the edge of the table.  With a quick sidestep and a good hard kick, Geoff's chair is sent sliding towards his legs with considerable force.  Irae is right behind it, his blade angling for a backhanded diagonal sweep across the torso.

Geoff initially reacts the the chair, but spots the blade in time to bring his saber up to meet it. His guard almost wavers, but he manages to get his feet on the ground and stabilize himself. "Now that's what I'd like to see."

Irae's blade rebounds from the parry and swiftly curves around for a low horizontal slash as he attempts to maintain momentum.  The chair skids to a stop a few feet behind Geoff before coming to rest on its side.
