A small red fox approaches the Grand Hall of Crimson Flag, holding a letter and multiple gemstones.

"HEEEEELLO everyone! I have come to address you in a simple matter of this letter, shall I read it to you?

 Yes? All right. Here we are. Ahem.

Quote
Dear Travelers,
               You have been selected to embark on a simple quest. A small purge of a city of cursed undead. All gear you request shall be given, as well as supplies, and you may keep anything you might find during this event. HOWEVER, I must implore you to not ask of too much, as magical items can NOT be provided. Potions can be supplied. You will be rewarded handsomely for the completion of this purge. Should you accept this invitation, please use the summonstone provided by the courier.
"

The fox then offers up the gemstones in his paws to any that would accept.

ALL RIGHT. This is merely a TEST for an RP idea I've had going on for a while. I will NOT make this fancy for now, but I will tell you that in the final product, if I even get to that step, will be using the 3.5e Pathfinder DnD rules (Or at least a modified version of them). Until then, however, I do not expect dice to be rolled to determine things. This is merely a test to see how well I can put the environment together.

No Godmodding
Know your limits
Custom mods are allowed, IF THEY ARE OKAY'D BY ME PERSONALLY.
Character Sheets are NOT required.
*EDIT* Time period restriction is: Dark Age to Sub-Future. (PM if uncertain what I mean.)

This will likely procede later tonight, or if not, tomorrow. Please put your character (or a description of yourself if you wish to use yourself) and all relevant information in this thread.
*EDIT* It will go into action when I declare a static date, as for now, feel free to join.

I think that's all, so.... GO!

It gets so lonely being evil
What I'd do to see a smile
Even for a little while
And no one loves you when you're evil
I'm lying through my teeth!
Your tears are all the company I need

Jay Donovan Laurel
commonly known as (by which i mean always known as) Pineapples

Pineapples has a few brain issues...
he posesses a vast intellect although it usually never shows unless he needs it. and although he may be quite intelligent his moral compass and his senses of inhibition and ability to distinguish fantasy from reality have suffered a slight amount of complete obliteration.
he is completely insane and tends to be dangerous to spend long amounts of time around
he has an impressive level of skill in complex electrical engineering and computer programming.
carries a small smartphone-looking device with him at all times...it is an impressive computing device with a self-made operating system.
if he has to fight in any way he prefers his homemade weapons:
-elastic claw: a small metal gauntlet which fits over the wearers hand and still allows for free movement of hand, all hand movements are translated to a robotic hand connected to the gauntlet by elastic cable: it can be swung or launched at opponents and always come back
-shock speakers: capable of translating about 2000 db of sound in a controllable radius from speakers strapped to the palms of his hands: he can widen or close the output funnel to focus the sound enough to punch a hole through steel or widen it enough to launch an opponent(or himself, rocket jump style) upwards of 40 feet

gender: male (looks pretty androgynous)
height: 2 ft 6 inches
height(if you need him on the same scale as other characters): about 7 inches shorter than the average height

weight: 63 lbs (hollowed bones due to his avian race)
species: lesser horned owl

voice tone: higher register (male soprano)

other unusual traits:
-not only capable of flying but posesses a vertical leap of about 20 feet
-is capable of basic air magic

[EDIT]~
for the occasion i came up with a new weapon, something i love doing:

rip ring:
a metal ring with a diameter of 1 foot with a bar running through the middle covered in a rubber grip, about the outside runs a chainsaw-like spinning chain covered in 2-inch long titanium teeth powered by internal motors. usually carried in pairs and are capable of sticking into surfaces and pulling the holder along at high speeds as well as easily cutting through wood, flesh, and even stone

before leaving i will take a health potion, my PaD-4 mobile holographic projecting handheld supercomputer, and a few smoke bombs

Johnathan (John is okay, but Johnny is not)

A fairly standard otter, nothing all that interesting really.  He's a little older than Selden, considerably more serious, and an unorthodox alchemist.  He brings to the fray an assortment of grenade-like potions ranging from holy water to high explosives - though a limited number of them - and a home-made flamethrower as weaponry.  He also carries his own healing potions and a few armor potions of his own devise:  they'll harden the imbiber's skin to a degree, helping ward off bites and other minor penetrating weapons.

As an aside, don't try to get between him and the enemies.  He'll try to avoid friendly fire, but if something really needs burned he'll risk it!

Edit:  in case anyone has the wrong idea, this isn't a 'cover the area with fire' flamethrower.  It's home-made, not mil-spec!  It can shoot short, controlled bursts, hitting an area about 5' wide and 15' deep.  If we were playing in a more formal setting instead of a test, I'd work out things like cooldown and damage too.

Tyla: Ty Ty ty Ty Ty Ty
Tyla: we need more tys
Selden: No, no, no. Then we'd need a tybreaker.
* Tvorsk snickers!
Tyla: ...
Tyla: that was...
Tvorsk: Tyla, the word you're looking for is "beautiful". {;)
Virmir: I need to hire Selden as an editor. [;)

Arthur Smithe, Magical Scorge Specialist.

Veteran of several Zombie Infestations and Mutant outbreaks, Arthur has been tasked to help deal with the city's Zombie problem. While the wolf is usually quiet on his own, he has been known to act almost minacally at times.

Gender: Male
Race: Grey Wolf
Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 200lbs

Equipment: Shotgun, Longsword, Zombie Survival Pack(Med Kit, Feild Rations, Tent, Bedroll, cooking tools), Trip alarm kit(2 Uses)

Juubi, Red Mage.

A relatively new fighter who has joined in, simply for something to do. He is a bit naive, and will rush into things without much planning.

Gender: Male
Race: Wolf demon
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 160lbs

He normally fights with his Keyblade, which he is self-taught in the usage of. He specializes in Fire, Water and Healing spells, but can utilize a few weak spells of various kinds. The main drawback of this is that after using a specialized attack, he generally needs to recharge it before reuse.

Running low on potions, he kindly requests a few vials of holy water, a couple of Elixirs and Megaelixirs, and a batch of Ether.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elixirs are potent potions that fully restore stamina and wounds, but they are very rare.
Megaelixirs are even harder to acquire, and have enough dosages for 4.
Ethers, a weaker potion, (and the one out of all of them which I would like the most, if the Elixirs are too overpowered,) re-energizes magical energies and attacks.
Canden Alkine
Marksman
Gender: Male
Race: Red Fox
Hight: 5'10"
Weight: 180 lbs
Canden is a young fox, just looking to have a bit of interesting times. He hates zombies with a passion, and will jump at any chance to blow them to many small bits. He does very well with his chosen firearms, but shooting is about his only combat-related forte.
Equipment: AR-15, Ruger Superblackhawk, clear safety glasses, earplugs, and a backpack containing extra ammo and food. Medical supplies are basically whatever bandaids he's got in his pockets.
Sanity is for the weak.
Judging from the anachronistic mix of characters here, you might want to define your setting more thoroughly.  Things might get out of hand if someone decides to play as a Space Marine. {;)
The setting may actually work pretty well for that, a bunch of inter dimensional travelers killing zombies...
I believe the time-setting was already restrained to current-subfuture... soooo, no, spacemarines would be bad...
Anyway!
Nelhreim (Nehl for short) is an Arabic-in-appearance, overly-clothed woman from the waist up - but below the waist lies a car-proportioned spider body, all coated in pure ebony plating, with an exotic, orange marking on her abdomen. She carries two cutlasses on her person. She's reserved, calculating, seemingly always dwelling on something (UNLIKE AMNESIA THAT OTHER GAMES BOOKS AND MOVIES LOVE). At the mention of a purge, she perks up and leaps forward to grab a crystal.
Name: Irae Iscariot
Gender: Male
Species: Red Fox anthro
Age: 37
Height: 5'8”
Weight: 152 lb
Class: Inquisitor
Weapon of choice: Blessed cruciform daggers with narrow, 18” long blades.  Lots of them.
Appearance: Irae wears black priestly vestments consisting of slacks, dress shoes, a shirt with a cleric's collar, and a cassock. The cassock is unbuttoned, and a silver cross on a steel chain is worn over the shirt. He wears white gloves, each with a black cross stitched onto the back of the hand, and a pair of small round glasses over steely gray eyes.  The gloves and clothes seem to be blessed to protect him from his own blades (otherwise I see nothing stopping him from turning himself into a pincushion).  He carries a horrifying number of these daggers concealed in his cassock.
Edit: now with picture, but no glasses because I apparently can't draw them: http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk258/Cyberfoxfinal/GIMP%202/Iscariot.png
Abilities: Irae is able to throw his daggers with abnormal precision even when holding multiple daggers in each hand.  He also has a large book with a silver cross on the cover that can apparently generate an endless supply of papers inscribed with prayers and incantations.  These can be pinned to walls, ceilings, or the ground to make seals or holy zones that improve his agility, his strength, or allow him to heal most non-lethal wounds. (translation: he's ambidextrous, trained in thrown weapons, can cast Cleric Divine spells.  Edit: Inquisitors have their own spell list.)
To alleviate confusion, he is literally an Inquisitor, as per http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor If actual pathfinder rules are eventually enforced, he will be able to conform entirely to the class as presented in the SRD, though getting sent to level 1 would hit him with a de facto nerf bat.  But I'm sure this is true for anyone...  {;)
