Debating the Character Debut

Here's a story I've been tinkering with for a bit. The problem I currently have is a new one for me, in which I know exactly how the plot will go and yet I have no desire to actually write it. I think the problem is that I love the characters but have no real interest in any other part of the story. I'm posting it here just to let people see it and hopefully get some opinions on what to do.

Righty, so I've got through my block and have a new story for Coby and Flynn. I'll leave this fragment up for those interested in getting a peak at their interactions.

Got a new debut for these two, posting it to get a feel for how they're coming off. I've got a good idea now of how people see Coby, but I'm curious as to how Flynn comes off now.

I like this so far! Flynn definitely seems deeper in the second version.  Looking forward to reading more.
