* Fenrs leans back in his chair.
"Lack of clothing and money.. Sounds like you need a job..."
* Fenrs grins.
"Well, I have a small shop.. I sell odds and ends, things I've made, a few interesting things I find. Keeps money in my pocket, but nothing amazing. Of course, I can't stand around in it all the time. Perhaps, maybe, you could mind it for me while I'm unable to take care of it?"

Geary's ears perked at Fenrs' offer. Not only would he be helping others, but he would also be able to pay off everything he owed! His tail flicked with joy, and he couldn't answer fast enough, even though he still had a bit of fish in his mouth. "Yes! Yes! That would be wonderful!"

Geary: That means you get a companion for four levels, then it gets an upgrade.
Draykin: A very PAINFUL upgrade.
* Digital_Vulpine eeps, since the rules don't specify that I'm exempt from the psychic link that Wizards have with their familiars. o_o;

"haha.. alright then. If you stay around long enough you'll probably get to know the regulars. remind me and I'll show you where it is sometime, as for how much everything is, I have a list..."
* Fenrs takes another bite of bread, then chews and swallows it.
"What else.. ah, yes, pay. That'll get worked out while I show you the shop."

"But it's the morning now... the sun's up!" I draw the curtains back over Donnie's bed to let the sunlight pour in. All the bedrooms in the Keep could have had windows... even if they were underground. "It's -not- dusk any more."

I love people. Especially nice people. Especially nice people who give me bellyrubs. <3

Donnie groans and gets out of bed.

Iasha's ears twitched some...
<Just what is it that this guy does anyways?>
"What exactly do you sell, Wolf?" She inquired.

"I sell things I have found that have proven harmless, such as old currency from civilization gone by, and things I have grown or made myself. I have a small supply of food I grow myself, and a good seller are the carvings I make. Usually wooden, but some prefer stone.. usually small enough to fit in my hand."
* Fenrs thinks.
"I've also met a couple of merchants who sell their own handmade items.. travelling, though, so they can't sell to the same place all year round. I buy a larger portion of their stock, at a lower price, and sell it. Usually by the time they come back, they've improved their wares and styles, so it doesn't keep people from buying from them."

Geary took in to account what Fenrs sold. The more he thought about it, the more he enjoyed the thought of convincing people of buying things from him, regardless of whether or not they had any practical use in the real world. "So, where is this shop?" He asked inquisitively.

"It's close to my room, set up close to the edge of the city.. strategic location, it'll be farther away once I get that house, but not too far."
* Fenrs takes another bite of bread.

<Think fast girl...>
"So selling trinkets... that's it?" She inquired, "Isn't that, you know, a waste of talents? You make that... cat balls thing but reduce yourself to be a salesman?" She reached into a pouch on her vest and pulled out what looked like a thin black box and opened it. "Make something to impress me and I'll find somebody that can use you."

(Whatever is inside is up to you, just make something XD)

Geary lowered his head to the table, a fish still left on the plate. He looked into the box and raised an eyebrow. "Is that... a... what is that?" He raised his head to get a better look. It was a pendent shaped like a gear, with a small chain extending from either end of one of the teeth. He picked it up with his paws and examined it thoroughly. His eyes opened wide. "That's it!" He grabbed his last fish in his mouth and made a mad dash out of the cafeteria and to his room.

* Fenrs looks in the direction Geary ran off to.
"Well.. hm. Guess he found something he was looking for..."
* Fenrs takes another bite of bread.
"I appear to also be running out of bread. Ah well."

Iasha scratched her head, "That's it? I wonder what is so awe inspiring about a chained gear with a gimble inside... Well whatever it is we shall see."

"I suppose... rather odd though, to just go running off like that."
* Fenrs turns to Iasha.
"Wouldn't be such a waste of talent, either. Like I said.. I handcraft some of my goods, and I have plenty of experience. Might have a trick or two to learn, and if I did, you can be sure it'd be either rare or impossible to find somewhere else."

Geary flung his door open, rushed to the desk, and didn't bother to close the door. He pulled out a quill and dipped it in ink. "Let's see, if these go here... then those go there..." He began sketching the device with amazing precision and scaling. "Yes! I've got it!" Geary pulled the paper off the table and rushed back to the cafeteria. He located Iasha and slammed the paper on the table. On the paper was a very in-depth drawing of a gauntlet, one containing hidden blades, needles, and a eye-shaped indention with an obvious purpose, all operated by a gear mechanism.
