Both genders should have to deal with the toilet seat in whatever position the last user left it in.

EVERYONE should CLOSE the BLASTED seat COMPLETELY when done EVERY SINGLE TIME WITH NO EXCEPTION.  ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE DOGS IN THE HOUSE.

I believe in everyone having their own personal toilet, or sharing it with someone else under predefined rules that both must adhere to.
