As a general announcement, my wrist has gotten better but I seem to have developed a pain in my right elbow whenever I do anything with the arm at all. As standard emergency vital body part procedure I have ceased using it for anything, including drawing, typing, mousing, etc. and will rest it for a few days to see what happens.  Currently typing with the left hand (AGAIN), which is a pain, so here is a topic I can link to in chat so I don't have to explain this 100 times. Will probably be in chat less, and less responsive due to 25% typing speed.

ANTICIPATED QUESTIONS ANSWERS

No, I will not be "lazy". I will probably get all the text and borders laid out for the next several CF pages then get a head start on the next part of the script or something.  If the buffer does take hit I'll be able to catch up faster. So nyeh!

Yes, I'm working from home, entirely with my left hand, because I am HARD CORE.

Yes, I might try "angry left-handed drawings."

I will not open commissions again until the weekend after the weekend I've recovered.

I think it might be "golfer's elbow" if you want to look that up.

I've never beaten anyone with a golf club before.

Good luck with that, Virmir - and I'm glad about that last point, let's see if we can keep that record going.  |:P

Tyla: Ty Ty ty Ty Ty Ty
Tyla: we need more tys
Selden: No, no, no. Then we'd need a tybreaker.
* Tvorsk snickers!
Tyla: ...
Tyla: that was...
Tvorsk: Tyla, the word you're looking for is "beautiful". {;)
Virmir: I need to hire Selden as an editor. [;)

I hope you're aware that now you're obliged to draw yourself beating something with a golf club :P

I cannot say this is at all hard to imagine and second the motion.

"There is a theory that states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened."

To update, the arm was feeling better on Saturday so got a bit of the comic done (sketched, halfway inked!). However, I re-injured the wrist doing stretching exercises. AAARGH.

As it was still hurting this morning (Monday), I became concerned I did some more serious damage so got it checked out just to be safe. It's nothing serious-- just need more rest and tons of anti-inflammatories.

Will be resting it for a few more days, then will slowly catch up with CF buffer. May have to figure out a more intelligent way to handle the crazy art marathon days (which may result in crazy schedules like waking up at 7 or 8, immediately drawing for 2-3 hours, then cleaning house for 2-3 hours as a "break", repeat, instead of lumping all the drawing together... we'll see!).

Left arm hurts now.  No typing or chatting for a day or two.  Training psychic powers (speech recognition) in the meantime.

Sorry to hear that you're without hands for the moment, Virmir...! I hope both arms start feeling back to normal soon--I imagine trying to do all your typing via speech recognition is probably very frustrating, not to mention being unable to draw still. :(

Saw a specialist in orthopedics today.  She said resting the arms as I've been doing is good at first, however keeping braces on all the time and not using the arms at all for an extended period is bad.  She suggested I start drawing and typing a little, so yay!  I do still have mild pain off and on, however have new prescription cream stuff and will be doing physical therapy for a couple of weeks.  So we will see how that goes.

Will be very lightly working on the comic and may pop in chat from time to time for brief periods over the next few days, depending on how arms feel.

Also, there is DUST on my tablet. GAH * dusts and begins rehabilitating *
