Chapter one: A Stranger in Stranger lands

Misty looked around slowly as she shut the door behind her, sneaking out was something she would not be doing this early in the morning, but the spot would be a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. She hopped down the rocky path and turned left down the dirt road, it was a calm morning with the stars in the sky dwindling as the night sky was glowing light around the horizons, smiling she continued to walk down the path towards the town the quiet place still in her mind as she grew excited, no one would be there this morning and it would be all for her. As she drew close towards town she could hear a light bit of conversation in the streets coming from the rescuers that ran the town and the explores that got up early to help with the morning routine, mail was being delivered around this time too as the rescuers and explores from the town guild started to look on the poster board for their daily tasks that they would do for the day, Misty got a good look and saw no criminals and hurried on her way towards the place were time could never touch, nor evil would never stand. Misty moved through town as stores began to open and people began to do some early morning work cleaning out their shops, Misty coughed as dust was kicked into the air as dust was sweeped out by a Minccino’s tail as it cleaned out her favorite place she hung out with her parents after they came home from work, a tiny cafe with the best hot chocolate in town, it seemed to be always warm and forever sweet.

Misty left town calmly before running down a small dirt path near the main path that led to town, it was an easy trip that led to her favorite place near town, as it was the only place she could get some quiet from the world around her. After a few minutes she arrived at her favorite place, it had it all, nearby berry bushes that had the sweetest berries she has ever tasted, lush green grass that was soft and warm to lay on during the day, (although now it was covered with an early morning dew) there was a few small waterfalls that lead into a stream that was nice to swim in and lead down to a big lake that you could find awesome water type pokemon, and there was a big king waterfall as Misty called it, that made a big rainbow from the mist that was thrown into the air. Misty layed down on a big rock that was near the giant waterfall and looked over the trees waiting for the sun to rise, she knew it would be a beautiful sunrise, maybe the best one she has ever seens, relaxing on the rock she turned and look in the water watching it splash and play with the light that the sky had it was calm and clean and the noise was calm and soft while being loud and strong.

Misty looked into the water and saw herself shining back from the stream’s pool, she saw her water blue eyes that seemed to soak up the water that was in the stream, her brown fur that was long and wild as her mom had not cut it for a while,  her peach creamed bush of neck fur that worked better than any scarf while in the snow, her brown ears that were twitching to the sounds of the stream and waterfalls, and her tail that flicked calmly behind her as she waited for the sun to rise. She was a good eevee but she considered herself the best friend that she could ever wish for, she was kind as sweet to others, she was patient with the pokemon that were not, she made an effort to be honest, but kind, and she always tried to see the best in things when she could. This is what Misty thought anyway, she never was good at making friends as she saw little to no need in spending time in the world of make believe, she rather be in what she knew than what people would try to know, as if the world they were in wasn’t good enough for anyone, if the world was good enough for her it was good enough for anyone, life was great.

Misty sighed to take in the warmth of the last bit of star light as the sun started to rise it was a calm morning indeed, not a noise from the world that she grew up in and not a noise of the one she would be forced into soon, nothing was bothering her as the stars began to flicker s out and the pink and peach horizon was starting to show the sun in it’s full colors and light as the sky’s darkness was swept it all away and gave great light to the great world that she lived in. All the words in the world could not describe the beauty in what Misty was viewing, for as the light came into the sky the rainbow appear near the waterfall’s rim and the light played  into the water and the shadows began to cast from the forest and the dew began to vanish from the green grass. The noise of the waterfall seemed to die down too as the birds seem to come alive making their many calls to one another talking in their trees and singing their songs of beauty and wonder, but from all this noise she heard something she did not recognize from this place of wonder and beauty, sobbing began to come from some place in the meadow as it grew over the sound of the waterfalls.

Misty began to tune out all the other noise as she forced on the crying that she could not be distracted from as she jumped down from the rock and began to focus more on the sobbing that was coming from somewhere near the waterfalls. Misty began to look towards the waterfalls as the sobbing seemed to be stifled by a paw, she heard the voice sniff and sob a little more and the voice of the one crying began to slow down. Misty heard the echo from the caves that were behind the big waterfall as she walked towards it her feet splashed into the shallow water, as she drew closer  the sobbing stopped and a whimpering could be heard as a whimpering of fear.

Misty drew near and began to talk in her low calm voice echoing into the cave, “don’t be afraid, it’s alright, there is a nearby town I can take you there if you like?” Misty entered the cave where the sun’s light played on the walls of the cave from the water as a small pool was inside the cave. “Please,” Misty continued, “I am not here to hurt you.”

The sobbing continued as Misty drew close and looked at a small young female eevee in the back of the cave sobbing and crying. “Please don’t cry,” Misty tried to calm it down, “I can be your friend, I can help you.” The sobbing slowed down as the other eevee sniffled and whimpered.

“Where am I?” the little eevee said with a sore voice sobbing slightly, “Who are you?”

“You are near Marvel Town, and my name is Misty” Misty stopped and looked at the small eevee and smiled kindly, “Who are you?”

“I don’t know” the eevee said sadly as she looked at her paws and then to Misty eyes wide, “What am I and what are you!?” The eevee shouted and backed away, “you're a monster! Stay away!”While backing away the eevee tripped and fell down to the ground sobbing as Misty helped her up.

“You okay? You're acting kind of funny for an eevee, have you never seen your face before?” Misty gestured to the pool of water that was in the cave as the eevee looked into the water and sighed.

“I don’t remember looking like this, I remember…” The eevee paused as she thought about what she could remember and sighed, “I can’t remember anything I wan, I want, I want to go home!”

Misty sighed and stared into the eevee’s blue eyes and thought on what her mother said about talking to strangers, but this eevee here, she could be no more older than her in fact she looked just like her if it was not for instead of peach fur on her tail and around her neck it was white as freshly fallen snow, maybe this was a prank by one of those kids who were into other realms, going to other realms seemed to get rid of memories. (not that she paid attention or anything) Sighing Misty looked around and then finally said, “You can come into town with me if you want but you are not allowed to follow me home, my parents would not be to happy if I brought a stranger home with me after I snuck out early.”

The other eevee simled, “Thank you, I would probably get lost on the way back to Mervel Town miss.”

Misty frowned and looked into the water, was this eevee pulling her tail? Was she really lost? She sighed and looked at the other eevee smiling again, “It is Marvel Town, and my name is Misty, Winter.” Misty jumped out of the cave getting wet this time and shaking off the water and waiting for the other eevee to follow, if this was really a prank the other eevee would hate what she called her.

“Winter?” The other eevee asked as she misplaced a step and fell face first into the stream quickly swimming out of the water and shaking it off as well, she seemed not to be at all bothered, but more hopeful when Misty called her that, “Do you know me? Is my name really Winter?” She said quickly and hopefully.

“Err” Misty said calmly, “No I don’t know who you are I just have to call you something and just calling you eevee would really not be good, it sounds just awful for me to call you what you are.”

“What am I?” Winter said looking with a new amount of hope in her eyes.

“You're an eevee and you will always be one until you evolve into something else Winter.” Misty said as she walked down the path to the town where she came from, this eevee was not acting like one that was playing tricks or this one was just a really good actor. “Let’s get to town and see if anyone knows you,” for all Misty knew they would be friends before she got a job in town because who didn’t want to have a friend.

“Yay!” Winter shouted as the began to head into town.

It started off as a normal day for Thomas, checking balances of different assets on different bank accounts for his taxes, it was all going well, not one thing to note and his taxes would be paid and he would be able to go to college soon, saving up was harder than he thought. He heard a ding from his email that snapped him from his bliss of taking notes and checking bank statements, he glazed at the clock to check the time 3:52 AM, he needed to get to bed soon, he would just check the email and finish tomorrow morning before he went to work, he moved his mouse over to his email tab and clicked it open and saw one message from his friend who he had not heard from in awhile. He clicked it open and saw what he could not believe, it was a link to a donation, Simon hated donations and felt that they were pointless. He clicked the link and read what the donation was for, which turned out to be a science grant of some sort.
Luckily for Thomas he had a way of isolating where emails came from, he worked as an I.T. for a huge company for five years before being fired for not showing up to an important meeting. Thomas started the isolation to see where the email can from, no normally this would simple, as Simon usually sent his emails from a small cafe as he could not afford a computer from his house, but this was highly encrypted and had multiple drop off points, Thomas was gonna call the cops to deal with it in the morning, the would be able to track down what it was and where it came from, after all it seem to have one solid stream line of data. Not thinking about what he saw he turned off his computer with a click of a button and yawned, he would deal with in the morning, and then it would not be his problem any more, the screen glow died as he walked down into the hall, turned left and found himself in his room where his lamp light was glowing, laying down in his bed he turned it off and closed his eyes for some sleep. 4 AM it was not like anything was gonna happen for two hours.
Thomas woke with a start, he looked around, he was in a chair that was in a big room that seemed to be empty of everything but him and the chair, the walls were white and the sound of silence must have been what woke him up, it was as quiet as the dead. He got up and stretched in the room looking around for the door, it was white and very fancy looking, he needed a key card to get out and clearly he didn’t have one, I mean where would he even get one for this door? Thomas sighed and pounded on the door, who would do this to him? Was this because he went looking around in the email Simon sent him? He pounded more, if he was stuck here he wanted to know, who was doing this and why he was not going to leave.
Then and there the white door hissed like a snake a opened up to What Thomas could not believe he was seeing, it was an orange red snake with a moncal on his right eye, but the oddness did not stop there, the snake had arms and legs and was wearing a pine green suit and sky blue shirt underneath with a lemon yellow tie and black suit pant as though is was dressed for business. Thomas gulp and backed away as the snake lizard thing progressed towards him in a clam slow fashion, there was something about him that did not seem right, something about this snake that seemed down right scary and off settling, He looked into his brown eyes and backed into the other wall.
“You are not the first to be filled with fear about just my looks,” the snake said cooly, “I for one am not comfortable with this get up as I prefer my robes, but such is this pitiful world of disappointments, honestly robes made of fine silk are higher priced then the last world I conquered, or at least tried too.”
Words seem to be stuck in Thomas’ throat, conquer worlds? Why would someone do that? What did he have to gain? With a quick gulp Thomas  found his words that came out more trembling then he was trying to attempt.
“Why am I here?”
The snake gave a pleasant smile and chuckled, “You dug places you should not haved, and I feared you were going to call the authorities, I don’t believe yours would have a chance of doing me in, but careful is as careful does. The snake’s smiles widened.
Thomas understood what he was talking about, “Where is Simon, who are you?”
“Oh him? You will be joining him shortly, as for me, I am Thulssa Yii and I will conquer this world, it seems to have no magic and will be easy for me to grasp control of.
Thomas shook his head in disbelief, magic is not real nor would it be able to become real, “Someone will stop you!” Thomas said bravely, he could not believe that he said that as he was just as scared and unsure of this mad snake as anyone else would be.
“Tell me Thomas, do you have a magical thing protecting your world?” Thulssa Yii asked calmly as he stared at a wall uninterested in Thomas, “because that is what stopped me last time and if you don’t have that sort of said “Spirit” Thulssa Yii made quotation marks in the air, “ I feel as if you have no chance.” Thulssa Yii raised his hand at Thomas
Thomas gulped again, “What are you going to do to me?”
Thulssa Yii smiled happily, “putting you with your friend.”
“Where is he?”
“With all the other turtles”
Thomas felt a cold sensation spread into him as Thulssa Yii’s hands glowed green, Thomas felt whispers in his head as new thoughts and feelings spreaded through him, “ You can’t do this to me, I won’t let you!” Thomas shouted feeling his will slowly be torn out of him.
“I can and I will, you will become a turtle.”
Thomas’ mind seemed to be slipping from his grasp as he felt tingly all over, his mind was giving in to the whispers, he felt safe and out of harm's way he felt as if everything was going to be all right here as if though being a turtle was the best thing ever, he started to relax slowly, letting his mind be overtaken by this fuzzy feeling, and that is where it all began to happen. Thomas’ fingers started to shrink and fuse together as green scales started to spread on his fingers and slowly moving up his hands, but Thomas remained unaware in a total chaotic bliss as his humanity was being stripped from him. His arms slowly grew the same scales on his hands as Thomas’ skin began to scream for water as it slowly dried out, a feeling that he wanted to lay in the sun began to spread in him as his arms became green.
Thomas sat down but sitting felt off as his chest began to harden and bulge out slowly his skin on his sides becoming soft and wet and green, He squirmed a little as Thulssa Yii reached over and petted his head causing him to relax even more as his body began to take on a round shape all though as he was getting fat Thomas’ sides began to push out making him take on a oval turtle like shape. Chills ran down Thomas’ mind as sitting began to feel more and more uncomfortable, same thing with wearing clothing, he fell forward on to his belly as his back started to harden and arched out ripping his shirt and the waistline on his pants as he grew a shell he let out a groan and scratched at the floor with his claws on his hands as they changes into turtle paws his arm’s bones seems to replaces themselves to a more comfortable possession for crawling as his shell grew it’s rim and made a hole for a tail which quickly pop out all green and scaly it wiggled a little as his body finished change into a semi hollow shell made for turtles like him.
Thomas’ legs cracked and popped making him moan once more as the green scales began to crawl down his legs as the became inverted to become perfect for crawling and his shoes ripped and socks tore as his feet changes and stretched out  his ankle joins vanishing causing another pain filled groan as his feet began to grow into green turtle paws and began to demand water just as his hands and arms did before. Thomas’ will and brain started to change as the final legs of his transformation came, his neck growing the same green scaly skin as his arms and legs and began to stretch out and extend getting longer as ears shrinked as red marks appeared where his ear once were and his mouth extended and teeth changed as he became just a bigger version of a common household pet, but he could care less he felt wonderful.
Then soon as his face was done changing his mind snapped out of it and he tried to stand up, but he no longer could so he crawled slowly away from Thulssa Yii unable to move faster than his slow pace fear filling his head. Thulssa Yii smiled as Thomas began to shrink feeling his body being pushed from every angle and his mind tingled as he looked back at his new body Thulssa Yii picked him up and began to stroke his shell and up his head his hair vanishing as he shrank Thomas was no more than a normal turtle with a human brain.
The doors opened as Thomas was carried into a room full of terrariums all full of different reptiles. Thomas was placed into a terrarium full of other turtles like him as Thulssa Yii smiled, “You gave in easier than your friend and will make a fine addition to my collection.” Thomas felt his mind slowly slip as he was placed on a log near water he was happy as a turtle could be, he slid down into the water letting his new instincts carry over into his mind as he slowly began to forget about the worries of  a human life, the terrarium was perfect for turtles as Thulssa Yii chuckled as walked away, but Thomas did not want to leave, he smelled a familiar scent that he recognized and wandered towards it slowly as his eyes turned into different colors as he was the world in a new a way, a perfect way with no worries a perfect terrarium and plenty of food water and sunlight, because after all wouldn’t a reptile be the best owner for other reptiles?

I honestly know that most of you people will ignore this post, me, and everything that comes with my pact, but for those who need this, which I feel is many, you all need to come with one turn.
Life is not prefect.
I know, hard to believe right? No one could have saw this coming, *sigh* I really need to say this right now, I am posting what ever comes to mind here about...how do I put this? Everything I can on this site? I think that is right...I hope... I hope you find that if you are stressed right now your not alone, look at my thoughts, they are random and just a little off on everything they can be to the part where I can't think right. The main thing I am trying to say is that with the stress it is hard to see what is true and what is not, for example, I am beginning to think that life does not matter, I have no friends, and there is no hope for people like me.
*Sigh* Is that it has come to now Flare? We doing this now? *sigh* Well I just want to say that all of these doubts in anyone could not be more wrong, there is a life worth living, but the thing no one is getting is that life is different for everyone, everyone shares different fates and lives and points of views, but then again, why do people get better lives, better families, better friends, better luck, and better everything? We believe that this is a bump in the road is a development in to a bigger story, most lives will not get people falling down to meet them to tell their stories to the world over and over again, the one I am living won't be and will never be to important to most, but there is an understanding that you also have to come to, the little things matter. Yeah sure, not everyone will be able to hundreds with one idea, or be able to give a story the millions will enjoy, but let me tell you one thing, one person can make a difference to millions and then there name is remembered, but when one person makes a difference just to one other, there face is never forgotten, I remember being told, "Karma is real, what goes around comes around." and they couldn't be no more wrong, yet no more right, I feel everyone of my mistakes, but that will make me a better person one day, but when I show kindness it does not come back to me, but in the end it does come back, kindness to a bully once stopped him from hurting others, and those others did something for someone else and so on, and for all I know it did come back to me some how, but the point is that every little thing, every tiny step in you million mile long journey matters, granted some people are wearing better clothing and have lighter bag to carry on this trip, but the end is the same that it has been for millions of years, What is the end? Where are we going? We could never truly know, but we know that helping others on their way is on of the most important things that builds us as a people. As a story writer we find ourselves second guessing the things we make and know, but now that time has stopped, we know that, all this guessing is where we went wrong, and a dream can be a difference in this mad life of this negative world that seems to showing that tearing down is this best thing in life, we may not have had to go through divorce with our parents in the home or witnessed death in front of our eyes like before, but life is life and it is up to you the impact you leave.
*sigh* I hope this is not a waste of our time Flare,  I know you say that this is right, but it feels like I did something wrong still, like lying to myself, but you and the others seem to wanted me to get this done so I did. *sighs* some out there needs this though if you are right, and if you are, you would see what we typed in action.

Depends what you are going for, Scenario 1 seems better for a adventure full of mystery and trials for the gaining of knowledge/power and choosing your own tribe to work with, the second scenario seems more of an action adventure than the other as you take on a deity to find your lost powers and memory, both are very close but could be very separate stories, for choices I would pick number one, I would choose the second I would chose for a good plot, but the I would go with would depend on my mood.

Can you hear my heart every time I’ve been beaten?
Can you hear my words as they get slowly drowned?
And all my friends left me alone on the ceiling
Now all I see is the whole world upside down
Do you remember all the words I’ve spoken
And all the times I could not mean enough
It’s like scars forcing themselves all open
Just to show everything I have ever done

Can you hear me?
This is the one hit for the long run

All this time, I have been left to be broken
All this time, I have been cast into the sea
I hear the words of the unspoken
That sparks a flame deep inside of me

The pain hurts as it continues to play on
As you float above everyone else's heads
Then you get a good look at all of your wrongs
What does this prove when you chose the good instead?
Can I feel the pain of every single mistake?
I would trade this all away to get gain
Life not fair suffer from risk others all take
But this is the price just for the taste of fame

Can you see me?
With one step we will all become

All this time, I have been left to be broken
All this time, I have been cast into the sea
I hear the words of the unspoken
That sparks a flame deep inside of me
And every trial that I can obtain
Every sight that I will never see
Shows the top of life's mountain
That only a few will ever be

I guess it’s hard to see the high thrown
When life is usually down from where I need to be
But this mistakes are all my own
And after every battle why would I ever leave

This is what I was meant to do!

All this time, I have been left to be broken
All this time, I have been cast into the sea
I hear the words of the unspoken
That sparks a flame deep inside of me
And every trial that I can obtain
Every sight that I will never see
Shows the top of life's mountain
That only a few will ever be

After all this time, what is there left to prove?
After all this time, find your strength inside of you.
