To be fair, nothing makes allies like a common enemy.

Uh huh, I get it, now how did the reds rebel against Naga? Did they at all? Or do all reds have a permanent bond with her. That'd be interesting, (and also really bad because Archmage is a red.) 😬

I'm pretty sure the reds didn't rebel since they remain loyal to her and her teachings.

It may be more "lost contact with" or "were forcefully separated from".

Of course, that was such a long time ago, none of them remember what specifically happened.

Seems that Snickerhoss has decided to channel Dr. Robotnik.

Oldest trick in the book.

How much you want to bet that they're going to get a thorough pat down just to make sure their [CENSORED] are real?
But... they ARE... that's the trick ;)
I know they are. The guards will probably go off the assumption that the disguises are not magical leading to a pat down. I mean, just because the two are the wrong gender doesn't mean anything since they still look very similar to the photo so they'll make sure that it's not a disguise. Of course, the fact that the disguising method is entirely new will foil any plans to look through it.

The fact that the Lady of the Stars banished the one thing that would help the Reyn detect these dragons and is probably behind them in the first place leaves me to believe that she is not a nice person. Not the kind of person you want watching your back.

Giles you sly bastidge are you trying to seize power? I mean, what with Lucian just figuring out how to cure the queen this would get in the way of anyone who wanted to take advantage of this turn of events to seize power. With a good enough spy network, he'd be able to find out about this roadblock and take care of it.

I can see why they think Voltar would be hesitant about letting them borrow his ship after what happened to the last one, and I don't blame him.

I think it's more that Lucian doesn't want to have to deal with him. Voltar would love to give them a ride being the real main character and all.

This is probably the most we've seen a Fen-Dahai freak out. The one in Auberwood did sometimes have a freak out expression in his eyes but it never spread to his mouth. This one just showed a freak out in both eyes and mouth but who can blame her? Assassin school can never prepare you for getting turned feral.

I don't know why but I'm beginning to think that this "Lady of the Stars" is not a benevolent god. First off, Sierra sees an evil aura in the staff that holds her power; then it turns out that the only thing that stops that power is a summoned spirit, which the Lady banished all examples of off to a horrible place. This indicates that the banishment was not for the good of the Reyn but a power grab by the Lady, which she later prettied up with propaganda about how horrid the summoned spirits. I mean, the Grays had been using summoned spirits under the Reds' noses for possible approaching a century and they didn't hideously mutate. Then there's Lucian's vision of Emiline dragon and the red-eyed evil-looking figure giving him a thousand-yard stare as well as the speculation that she is, in fact, the Lady. Add to that the fact that this figure has likely been spreading a contagion of three-eyed dragon-shifters around, the latest on-screen victim being the Commodore, and I think we've got an idea of just how 'benevolent' the Lady is. In other words, she's just as much of a god as the Go'auld. Yeah, she's got the power of a god but do you really want to follow her?

I would like to point out that the True Starists were all reds and they were able to use this power, at the very least to hulk out. It wouldn't surprise me if they went feral in order to conduct espionage and the Caerreyn never figured out how to patch these leaks. My theory is that the ability to see this 'cloak' comes from being zapped with the staff not from being gray.

I'm picking up two things from this comic.

a) The Reds' victory over the Grays' may have been very much Pyrrhic.

b) Julian reminds me of Charles the 12th aka Carolus Rex.
