I'm aware that you can't draw birds. ~.^ So how would you like to DRAW A FOX!?

Here's Tod's depiction of Kayton Fox, my secondary fursona. Well, that and the description I gave him. Sort of like Tvorsk's, but with slightly richer, orangier color!

What I'd like him to be doing? How about just having realized that he has become his fursona? (Or that the person who had him as a fursona became him ... aw, semantics!) I say this because I've been trying to think of a good pic to go in the title banner for becomeyourfursona.com, and all the post-TF pics I've seen have them looking shocked, dazed or horrified. Where's the awe? The vulnerability, even? That's what I try to get at with my stories. I'd like to see a post- (not mid-)TF pic that captures that.

Failing that, have him beating on something with a sword. That always works. Assuming you wouldn't rather draw somebody else's not-foxes. ~.^

Request modified:

On a suggestion from Yurodivy, I think that I'd rather see Creator-Unreal's fursona! He's a one-tailed Kitsune ...

Quote
... with brilliant white fur that had a golden sheen. But he only had one tail, and his clothes — his real clothes — looked old and cheap. A worn out jacket covered a thin t-shirt, and a pair of jeans that went down over his shoes.

That's his description from Help Wanted, the story that I wrote for him. I think that the same situation, of having just TFed, could work if that's what you'd like to draw. If not, I can try to come up with something else!

I'm playing Tachyon Feathertail, an Atavian Druid. My mate is playing Yurodivy Kiranov, a ... rodent? ... Rogue. (She's trying to be a possum.)

We're probably going to stay synced with each other if that's alright with you, but I might create a character just for this ... will have to consult with her!

That's the initial quality. But there's another really strange feeling. The thing which kills man is NOT a higher organism, it is another man. That means that there can be no higher, because at this point the graph of predator and prey levels off. The only thing we have to limit us is ourselves. POGO QUOTE: "We have met the enemy and he is us."

Not quite accurate. People do get killed by animals ... natural disasters ... poisonous insects and ants ~.^

Definitely something of a predator-prey relationship between individual human beings though.

Hmm, I was thinking FT,do you want Full reviews?

I'm not really good at giving those ]:P I hardly ever find things big things to critique in a story except perhaps small things on how the world works and such, maybe it would be cool to have some sort of 'comments' section?

You may be right! Calling them "reviews" instead of "comments" does sort of lead people to that. I guess I was thinking of places like Fanfiction.net, where reviews are basically comments with a different name.

What do you suggest?

It's a new story, and this time it's set in a medieval fantasy world! Should be right up a Crimson Flag fan's alley. ^.^

You can read it here: http://www.becomeyourfursona.com/2009/10/draco-dormiens/

If you decide to comment, maybe leave a review on the site itself so I can test out the new anti-spam plugin! Many thanks! And remember, I do take both commissions and requests!

I think it'd be more fun if every last one of them thought they were awesome, and weren't even conscious of anything "above" them. I can totally see ants doing that -- they've got huge empires and plans for world domination. Plus they're ruthless!

The ending was really interesting though. ^.^ A useful reminder maybes.

Ah yes, the Daemon. They weren't exactly pets so much as the souls of those people outside their body.

In the form of magical pets. ^.^

I'm just jumping in here towards the end, only having read the last part. The writing is very evocative though, especially the way the character reacts to this lifestone thingy of his. I haven't seen any background at all, but I can grasp what it is and why it's important. I love seeing the vulnerability the character faces as it's imperiled, and as he trusts someone else with it; it's so raw, and so familiar despite being part of a fantasy story.

Between that and the reference to planewalking, it reminds me more than a little of His Dark Materials. I loved how Pullman portrayed the Daemons in that story. What could have been just "magical pets" became dearer than life itself, anything happening to them being felt intensely by their owners. I mention that because this is the only other story I've read that made me feel that way about anything, and while you've probably mentioned it as an influence, like I said, I just jumped in here.

Add me to the list of furs constantly poking you to update it. >.>b

Thank you for the feedback. ^.^ And for the nice review you wrote on the site.

If you'd like to check out the original the site's theme is based on, click here! The title banner was done by Baako, and I'm doing a request for him in return.

Remember those stories I posted awhile back? Well, I take story commissions for people who want to become their fursonas, and Virmir bought one. ]:) Here are the results: http://www.becomeyourfursona.com/2009/09/shades-of-cineroargenteus/!

If you'd like to get your own, visit the commissions page. I take requests too, incidentally! And feel free to leave comments either here or on the main story page. ]:)

Interesting! I just use my phone to read books. Not so good at PDF files and comic pages though. ^.^; It can technically handle them, but it's really slow and it has a small screen.

How does this thing compare to the Kindle?

Very well-written! It was hard to keep track of each character at first, but since the whole story is basically characterization they stood out more and more as it went on.

About halfway through, when they started referring to "the lich," I thought "That's it. This is a story with a twist. By reading just the dialogue, we're being made to sympathize with these characters. Then there's going to be a Big Reveal, and we're going to find out that they're actually the 'bad guys'!" Then it got to the end and I was like "Wait, that's it? I didn't even get to find out who they were! ]:( "

I mean, I did, through the dialogue, but you know what I mean. >.>

This story was a disappointment even though it was so good, just because it seems it was cut short. Write more and I will be a happy tree swallow.

Interesting concept! ^.^ After playing SimAnt I always feel sorry for the poor things. Even though SimAnt was a game where you try to take over the house.

Anyway, I think that the second part of the story was easier to follow than the first, because of how informal and straightforward it was.
