I turn to Geary.

"...I was afraid. Afraid of the feeling of permanence. Like... maybe if I didn't look I wouldn't be stuck here. I know it's a silly thought, now... I'm over it. We can search my name today if you want."

"Ugh... alright..." I slowly reach into his mouth, feeling around his teeth. Luckily, with the sensitivity of my raccoon paws, I could feel everything in detail. "O-okay... here it is..." I give his uvula a slight pinch and tug on it just a bit before suddenly pulling my paw out...

"I'll try..." I close my eyes and concentrate... soon enough I begin shrinking. My clothes fall off of me and my body lengthens slightly, bones repositioning so my arms and legs are at a ninety degree angle... I try to stand up and lose my balance.

"Aack! I can't... control this thing...!"

I go to the designated shelf and retrieve the desired items, smearing the ointment onto the gauze and then gently wrapping it on my tail, wincing.
"O-okay, Iasha." I say when it's done. "Spill. What'd you find out about Donnie?"

I run to the basin, not hearing Coe's words, and stuff my tail under the tap, letting the water douse the fire. It burned the skin a bit, giving me a bad blister on the tip of my tail.

"Aaaauuuuugh..." I whimper. "It hurts..." I cast some healing magic on it and it cools, but the blister doesn't go away.
