Hey Guys, I have officially gotten myself into storywriting! This is a little tale I'm working on, and I plan on updating it as I create it! Anyway, here's the beginning of it. I'd love to hear feedback!

With a start, he jerked his head up quickly. He looked down to see burnt and withered grass, which felt cold to his hands. It crumbled the instant he felt it’s cool touch. He lifted his head, noticing the wrenching pain in his neck. Looking up, he saw rubble strewn all over the place. Fires burned in the distance, and he smelled smoke and copper. Kyle logged off and prepared to shut down his computer when his mouse hovered over a single folder. Kyle cringed. This folder contained his life’s story. Every memory, every war, even his childhood was logged into this one folder. Kyle sighed, double-clicked the folder, and he began to read...
