After being granted my sketch from this year's Halloween Sketch-O-Thon, I spent the day finishing it up:

Used this to practice cel shading, shadows, backgrounds, and, of course, the tree. I don't know how to draw trees, so that's my current best. Also, big thanks to Tower for advice on where to improve the shading.
If I had to come up with some context for the image, it would probably be something along the lines of a senseless but worryingly likely to work plan which requires a pumpkin that is Definitely Not Haunted*.

*Not-Hauntedness not guaranteed, and especially unlikely during a full moon and/or Halloween.
**Okay yeah it's haunted, but he doesn't know that.

Ty pushing a very large Jack-O-Lantern, which is visibly annoyed at the suggestion that it can be moved. Probably possessed, but you can never tell with pumpkins with faces.

Decided to double the resolution on this one, but then ended up using barely any of the space. Oh well.

Ty and Terra doing their magic things, a good excuse for me to play around with poses, layer masks, and all that fun stuff.

Also, since these pictures are raster images and not vector drawings, I might start posting the link to the image instead of the images themselves, unless I can find a way to shrink the image in the forums without reducing image quality.

Another drawing, this time of another character, Terra. I experimented with the pose and played around with different shading methods, and I quite like how it turned out. I only colored the "bench" because it looked weird uncolored. Suggestions for improvement are welcomed.

Topic name speaks for itself, criticism is welcome.

Starting of with some sketches of my character, Ty:

Probably going to clean them up and remove the shading layers to use for the reference sheet that I've put off drawing for the past few years.

Ty attempting to lift a spooky Halloween sword that is far too big for him.

Updated references not coming, have the one I threw together way too quickly last year. I had forgotten his striped tail, please include that since I always forget to.

Oh hey look, art. Been nearly a year, but may as well post something. Managed to get into a Photoshop class, so after playing around with some brushes, this image materialized somehow. Hopefully, this is a sign of what is to come.

Granted. Due to your spelling mistake, you just ate 100k witch statues made out of sand. They all collectively cursed you with indigestion as payback.

I wish for a stylish new pair of shades.

Granted. You are now forever equipped with a pair of effective all-visible-light blocking spectacles, a piece of wood strapped to your face! :D

I wish foooooor...  a bigger house!
Granted. Your house is bigger, but so are you.
I wish for a lampshade.

Ty wearing a Santa hat, covering Virmir in Christmas decorations.

Reference no longer pending, if a mediocre image of him from a single direction can count as a reference.

That can be found highly offensive, so please don't post stuff like that...
It literally means run away. How is shouting "run away" offensive?

They're still alive and conscious, and that's really all they need. That and magic. And a plan.

also with how powerful the blast we did see from her, this is just as effective as throwing a rock a giant she can ignore this and kill the other two
(I know me putting science in comics deems to tick people off but with how powerful the first blast was, the heat wave from the first blast should have been enough to at least give everyone in a 100 foot radius 3rd degree burns but most likely melt everyone in that radius, due to the fact that I can measure the heat of the first blast and time it took to melt Bryce, you find that she shot a star beam and manged to keep it there for about 1.3 seconds creating a small but noticeable heat wave enough to melt everyone else, but this is a cartoon so it would have more power and no heat wave, but if this was real, everyone near by fighting would have died in .7 seconds) sorry had to let it out of my system.
How can you measure the time between two still images?
