I may have said this about some previous strip but I think this is now the best strip to date.

And minor point here but I think the last panel would've been funnier if the dark-eared guard hadn't said anything.

Personal in a world full of magic I would have made the gun a atomic binder, that way the gun could come back as a ticking time bomb, and if it is two more shots should blow up the gun doing about as much damage as a high level nuke without any radiation.
