Just did an avatar upgrade and was just looking at all my old "official" avatars, i.e. the primary one I use everywhere for several months at a time until I get better and draw a new one, and found the evolution amusing. Thought I would share. [;)

Also, folks, pay attention to the successive ear sizes. {:P
I still prefer looks of #3 and #5 over #4, btw...

Heh. I notice that the ears and antennae both got bigger over time, though the latter has retreated a bit in the most recent one. The first one looks more chaotic-evil than chaotic-neutral. {;) I also see you ditched the ponytail (or whatever that is in the back) at the same time you picked up the cape. A definite improvement, IMO. {;)

Have to say, I liked #5 more than #6...
But all said, it's an interesting progression. A bit of a fascinating look into the evolution of a style.

Also, i like #5 the most as well |:P

Erm, hehe... I was using the file numbers.
The first one is called "evil_virmir", so it's #0, rest is numbered from 1 to 5.
I meant that I liked the faces of #3 (the one with missing antennae) and #5 (from the Gang pic) way more than #4 (from the Armed & Ready pic), with #5 being the best ever in terms of expression too (not to mention skill, of course {;))

Why would you use the filename to number the pics when the post puts the images and doesn't make any mention of the filenames?
All of them were and are avatars, regardless of the original purpose (evil_virmir sounds more like it was not meant to be an avatar at first)
If you see six pics in the thread, you talk about six pics >_>

Well, by accident, honestly... I right click the pic, see "av5", and without a second thought start mentally call it "the number five"...

My question is why you ditched the awesome black outlined eyes on #1 and the epic ponytail-ish-thing from #1 and #2.

1 is proto-Julian. I tried the black outlined eyes and could not get them to look that great. Was maaaaany years ago though, so maybe I'll try them again.
Ponytail again was from Julian, and wanted to move away from him. (I've a foxtail, anyway. [;))
And finally, another update. Hopefully people will stop bugging me for 15 months. [;)
