That is his outfit and the scene from the first few pages of the comic. Green pants, gray shirt, black cloak and broken ruins of beige cracked bricks. Totally in the costume and background of the beginning of the comic. Anyone can hit first and see it for themselves. But he looks confused, so he realizes, it's probably some kind of past illusion he has to break out of.
Also, her tail is becoming serpentine, he has to hurry! She's being converted into the new body of the evil god thing!
