Howdy hey! It's been a while since any games have happened here.. I've been pondering an idea of an organized RolePlay session. Something with a bit more consequence, but also which can lead to some creative interactions that wouldn't normally happen in the unconstrained chaos that is Grand-Hall.
Why would I do this? I want DungeonMastering practice, but I don't really care much for DnD combat. Instead I'd run it using a system called Fate.

There would be a bit of legwork to creating characters, deciding the setting and creating the conflict. But for now, I'm poking to see any interest of who'd be interested in playing.

As far as how it'd run- rather than doing it slowly via posts in the Forums- we'd run two or three hours once a week in the Theater. To give it more an real time spin, but not require the use of voice.

That would depend on the schedule of folks. My scheduled openings are
Monday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon or evenings.

Looks like that's 3 people down. If we get 1 or 2 more, that'd make for a decent group to work with.

On my end, I'll be posting setting information in the next 1-2 days. So watch for that.
For now, it's a vague; Jungle wilderness briming with giant bugs, with canopy cities where fuzzies live.

We're probably set as far as players go. 6 is a good amount for Role-play groups.
If people could post a summary and name for their character, that'd be great!
So far I know these details, but more defined terms would be good.
Kyle- Heroic sword guy of Nordic Runes
Eisen- Airship captain, witth 4 arms, to shoot gun?
Cecilia- Nice lady support class, healer and buffer
Mitch- Pyromatic witch doctor, Nuke
Sombody- Ranger of sorts
Arro- Rogue, Scientist, or Engineer; it's up in the air

Coosle (Pronounced Soosul):
Amateur mouse mage with a love of adventure and companionship. She is happy-go-lucky and cheerful most of the time, other times she likes to avoid conflict whenever possible and is not very good with violence and fighting. Instead her skills involve using her magic to heal wounds or invigorate her allies with magical potency. Her kind nature while very pure and innocent, makes her very gullible and easy to take advantage of. A thing that she has never understood.

Kylar the Red
Age: 21
Species: Norse Grey Fox
Sex: Male
Description: Kylar has Blonde hair with Red dye in some of the ends, resembling highlights. He has grey fur with a spike of red fur on each cheek. His fur around his muzzle, his belly, and his hands and feetpaws is completely white. His nose is also red. He wears a Dark Grey, almost black, robe with the edges a shade of red. One side of his robe is inscribed with protective Runes. The end of his tail is the same shade of red as his nose. Kylar is quite slender for his age, but can be easily underestimated in battle.
Background: Very powerful Warrior from the Land of the Norsemen. Along with wielding a very powerful, Rune-ladened Broadsword, Kylar has spent countless years harnessing and imbuning Norse Runes for his own use in combat, giving him an unparalleled edge. Kyle is very kind-hearted, yet also steadfast. Kylar is very strong for his skinny self. Losing his parents to a bandit raid several years ago, Kylar swore revenge and trained his mind and body non-stop. Eventually, Kylar single-handedly annihilated all the bandits in his home country, and then began a campaign to end piracy around the world. He now goes around, fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves

Hey, now I might need to draw you as Kylar! If you want I'd be happy to, have you got a reference? Or... should I make you a reference? I know it's not a major form for your character, just for this one RP thing, but since I'm not on a server to participate and you often enjoy seeing art of your character, I'm thinking why not? [;)

background: Witch Doctor; he has spent much of his life outside the cities, learning the ways of nature and how to bent them to his will. This has left him an accomplished brewer of various potions and tinctures, but utterly incompetent when it comes to the finer points of city decorum. He is also completely enamored by flames, and seeks to include them his life at all possible points.
