Hello!
It's that time of year again! Since Halloween is probably the holiday that sucks the least: Halloween-Sketch-a-thon 5!!
You can view past Halloween Sketch-a-thons here! (http://art.by.virmir.com/?search=halloween+sketch-a-thon) Same general idea this year!
EVERYONE GETS A SKETCH! COME AND POST YOUR SKETCH REQUEST!
- You may request a simple sketch-- nothing complex please! Probably one character, though maybe a second if they really "go together" as part of the sketch and there's some interaction and it's simple -- don't wear me out! Probably limit your request to a simple sentence or so.
- Requests must be Halloween-themed! Some ideas for you: Your character in a costume, as some ghoulish creature, stuffed with candy, etc. Have fun with it!
- You may alternatively request someone else's character as long as the character's owner is okay with it!
- PLEASE POST A REFERENCE OF WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DRAW, EVEN IF I HAVE DRAWN IT BEFORE. If I have drawn this character, do a quick search on my art site (http://art.by.virmir.com) and grab the link. THIS SAVES ME TIME!!!!!!! Also, post pictures of stuff relevant to the request, because I live in a tree and don't know what things are. If a reference does not exist, please write a SHORT description underneath the request. These aren't major drawings, so if I've not drawn your fursona yet-- don't fret. I may be able to get a nicer more fleshed out one for you later in a future request topic. [;) Generic stuff like "draw a fox doing..." is perfectly fine too.
- PLEASE NUMBER YOUR REQUEST! Look at the person who requested before you, increment that, and post what number yours is. If the ordering gets messed up, fix it. [;)
- This is open to CF members who have joined before the date of this posting only.
- GROUP REQUESTS: YES, you may team up with someone else this year! BOTH requestors must number his or her post. The person with the earlier number should describe the full request and also say, "I'm with X!" and include that person's number. The later requestor need only mention who he or she is with and post the number.
- YES, you may edit your post as many times as you like up until I'm ready to draw yours.
These will be streamed and done in order of request with no regard to who is in the chat at the time. Sorry! Although I may skip over group requests for a simpler one if I'm towards the end of my stream limit and am running out of time and then come back later.
BUT VIRMIR, YOU ARE INJURED. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS WHEN YOU ARE INJURED?
Congratulations! You have noticed. As part of my meticulous recovery plan, of which we are in month number 10, I draw a fixed, limited amount of time three days a week with each hand. I will be reserving my Saturday (right hand) and Sunday (left hand) sessions for this project until all the drawings are complete. As such the total amount of weekly drawing time will NOT increase--I will just be drawing from a different list.
Since the left hand has more time than the right, more of these will likely be drawn with the left hand, but we'll see how it goes! Ideally you should not be able to tell the difference, although I don't think I'm at that point yet. I do want to get there eventually as I plan on splitting commissions between the two hands once I recover.
As such, due to the limited time it is unlikely I will finish all of these by the 31st. Expect these to run into November!
Worst case scenario: I will draw these blasted things with my mouth. [;)
Requests close the night of Friday, October 23rd!

I'd like to see your rendition of Ryan Galen as a Cerberus.
You've drawn Ryan Galen before here (http://art.by.virmir.com/art/work_out).
While you know what a cerberus is, I typically picture right head being white and his left head being black... that is of course assuming such colors matter for a sketch. If it does, and you need help keeping track of the character's left and right from your left and right, use this Aywas reference here (http://i1144.photobucket.com/albums/o487/Ryan_Galen/Ryan%20Galen/RyanGalenCerby_byme.png). Otherwise, I leave details on bipedal or feral (and corporeal or incorporeal) to the artist.

I'm with 34! (Featherfall/Frosted)
A steampunk knight with her noble "mech" Seldragon steed... it's just a costume, some cogs and gears and a prop steam engine, plus a couple of flamethrowers mounted near the head. Seldragon should be looking worried about those, not sure if they're really just a prop. Knight details in Frosted's post, apparently.

Combo request with AlphaZeron (#33). He and Curus are trick-o-treating with Pokemon costumes - me as Lucario, him as Lugia. However, in the process, we end up getting transformed into what we are dressed as.

Extras:
Do not fuzzify the Charger, please. Simplify, de-blood, go ahead. Charger should have "speed lines" or something to indicate it is moving quickly.

I would like to see a Tyla Human turning all flat and cliché horror critter. A cardboard cut-out bone dragon, or a typical werewolf sounds good. Nice and stuck as a menacing illustration to be looked at and put away after Halloween! :3

Arya (which is female Arro (https://www.dropbox.com/s/6lcc81kbr6t0mxu/OfficialShoddyArroReference.png?dl=0)) as the witch, Kiki, dressed as such, with a little kitsune Niro taking the place of the cat, Jiji. Niro will be a pretty generic 'sune, but will have 7 tails (and other color specifications that won't make it in a sketch, of course).
Sorry, don't have a specific reference of Arya, but she really is just Arro female, give her the haircut of Kiki so she isn't like Arro in lacking distinct hair as separate from his fur.

Nixuelle dressed up as a witch, looking very embarrassed and pouty because it was the only outfit left in his size at the costume shop!
Something like this for the witch outfit would be great, though feel free to play around with the outfit design if you want to try something else. Giving him a broom to hold would be nice, too!

Holy crud dude. I wasn't sure what to expect when I gave you a bit of artistic freedom on the outfit, for your arms' sake, but it looks disturbingly cool on him. Also, it might just my immature sense of humor talking but the look on Virmir's face looks a little like he just let loose a loud one in public, which makes a little sense to me since Fear has a rather mischievous personality depending on his age.

Heh, nice! (#52) Must have been a challenge to draw one character in a costume for a different species. Around here it might not continue to be a costume if he keeps wearing it, though...
