...and without knowing for sure which one is which yet. Did they trade (apparent) genders or colors? I'm thinking maybe the former, I think I see a (covered) staff on the red one's back.

Have you considered getting Tod Wills back for awhile?

Would he dip his pen back into the same inkwell? Would be really neat to see how far he's come since the art changed hands, and I really enjoy his style.

He only ever did the sketches, the rest of the work was done by Virmir.  From what I understand, Tod was wanting to move on from sketching at the time Virmir completely took over.
