I was once in a DnD campaign where one of the players did something very similar to this. At the beginning of the session we were in the process of convincing a powerful wizard to help us save a city from some dragons. One of the players broke into and messed around in the wizard's locked room of broken or cursed magic items, and by the end of the session we were fleeing a colossal magically created monster that had utterly destroyed the city, the dragons, and the wizard.

This sequence reminds me of the drug advertisements for foxes who are worried about male-pattern fur loss.

Propecia is not for use by vixens, and this medication can cause terrifying magical birth defects if a vixen is exposed to it during pregnancy. Propecia tablets should not be handled by a vixen who is pregnant or who may become pregnant.  Encourage your lord by praising his lush, fluffy coat, keep to your place, and don't poke around in his secret medicine cabinet.

I would have gone for the gold coins first. Dragon items tend to fill up my inventory pretty quickly.

That pretty much sums up three things...
Foxes are relatives of cats
Curiosity kills the cat, but morphs the fox
This post makes little to no sense or a lot of sense, based on the readers perspective.

Why do they always have to touch things?

Why do they always have to touch things?
Because there's never a stick handy?
