Yay! I have won a guess on the internet, which makes everything better. Now my life is complete and such.

Also, I am amused that Julian set himself on fire from the necklace. Warn your kids about floof. It's all fun and games until someone runs around screaming comically.

Lucian did the same thing to escape the Fen-dahai (or however the hell you say it). I guess personal conflagration runs in the family.

Well it's been said (http://crimsonflagcomic.com/comic.php?comicID=120) that Julian is basically the equivalent of an Archmage.

I believe the order is intended to be the top 3, followed by the left side of the bottom, then the right side. It's not the eyes turning back, it's the eyes before hypnosis.
