The sun bakes over Tempe
The sweat pours over the people
The children hide in their homes
They went to the magical TV
They play games on it or watch toons
While shielded inside the shade
Shadows were precious in Tempe
Cars fight for the rare shades
Especially the ones with branches
For the shadows move in time

Of course. I'm weird. And if you look back at my earlier poems, they don't rhyme either. XP

Or maybe it does. After all, where do you park the car during 100-115F temperatures? XP
