I think he finally got exsohted (help me find it later) from all that really bad day he had.

Also, how bad was that fight if there is massive rubble and no one found him after dark?

Great. He's feralized.

Looks quite underwhelming. Certainly the treehouse woulda left a much, much bigger mess than that? And where did everyone else go?

He was on top of the structure.  It's not very hard to believe that he could simply have been thrown free of the worst of it, with a few of the stones causing the damage visible in the background.  In that case, everyone else would likely still be in the general vicinity of the body of the tower (which probably was mostly pancaked in the explosion; force goes down from the top, everything collapses).  That would include most other people in it.  As for his father, his different relative position to the explosion could have had different results.  Actually, he probably flew farther, unless he developed a counterspell to keep him anthro.

Ah, of course; everyone did got keel'd. I dunno why I had any doubts about that. Guess it must've been cos' I wanna deny that author would kill off this much of their cast. Voltar? Dead. Bryce? Dead. And the Queen, Emily the dragon, and the sage with the opaque glasses? Probly didn't fare any better.

Virmir doesn't seem like a kill-em-all kinda guy to me, at least for named characters.
But the untold masses of random background extras? I wouldn't be surprised if only a very few of them made it.

Good reasoning, sad that I did not see it.

Well where else could they be? No one other than a main character coulda survived such a blast.

My guess is Luccian will encounter and befriend several new replacement companions on his new mission to regain his anthrocity. But of course, that's only if he can still communicate. I'm sure if nothing else, he'll have some sorta "audiable telepathy", ala Garfield.

Otherwise, I can't realisticly foresee any other viable resolution.

As the old Japanese poet would ask... Is he a feralized fox who dreamed he was a kid, or a kid dreaming he's a feralized fox?

And yeah, I expect the mess around him is either bits of blown up tree-house or maybe from his landing (ow). Hmm, I wonder what the range of effect was for that disrupted magic circle.

The suspeeeense!  I wanna see the result of this now!  And again, this is probably my favorite strip out of the whole comic, even better than Emiline's dragon TFs, because it's not just TF; it's speaking to me in this artistic emotional way that tickles my intellect and makes me poooonder deeply and philisophically and this run on sentence is getting way too long.

Hmm, not always bad to be a feral fox. [:P
I guess he knows what happened to himself now too. [;)
